Man I wish you were here the last 48 hours it would be so much easier
But so many balls are up in the air. St Louis really likes him, he could be used in a trade for Eichel or another center. No one really knows yet but a few insiders have said other teams are high on him - TPC
Yeah, hes a good player and actually looks like he might have finally put it together. He has to be worth a decent amount.
That's the thing, Goodrow averaged 17 mins a game this past playoffs. That is 2nd line minutes. He can play all up and down the lineup. He isn't some 4th line plug. The only downfall I have seen is he doesn't score goals. Which is fine to me since we have a ton of other players that can. - TPC

He doesn't really get points, like hardly at all. His playoff rate is worse than his utterly mediocre regular season rate. I honestly think people mistake Goodrow for Coleman. Blake is good and the main driver on that line. Barclay is a more physical, less hockey sense version of Fast. It's strange to me that the Rangers covet him, but what's done is done. Now, we just have to hope they don't make any crappy trades.

I mean 93 points in 330 career games isn't nothing. Not saying he is the 2nd coming of Gretzky but he isn't coming here to score. To me that's just a bonus.

That's almost a point every 4 games which is goes to almost 1 in 5 in the playoffs. 1 goal every 13 games in the playoffs. That's 1 a postseason if you're lucky. He's not great defensively, average in the dots, physical but not intimidating. What does he really do? Genuinely, I'm asking because after watching every TB playoff game the last 2 years and a ton of SJ games the year they made their run, I'm not seeing it with him. Gourde and Coleman are excellent 3rd liners, but we're not getting those guys.

If Goodrow ends up playing with Eichel and Panarin at even strength, id bet with anyone he will have career highs in everything. Ill book him for 40pts in an 82 game season.
Yep I was thinking it would all end up being at least 3 separate deals. Sign me up - TPC
I’m thinking the 3rd round pick would be enough for a 37 y/o dman. Gee let’s see didn’t the Rangers let a perfectly good d-man in Rozival walk and then signed some 35 y/o, how’d that work out. And I can’t wait to hear the crying when Eichel can’t play due to his neck issues or plays at a sub standard level. Drury is going to F this all up and if they do win a cup it will be another one and done and a team like the devils will win 3 or 4. This organization and a majority of its fan base just don’t get it
