I though that too, but this expansion draft doesn't have the 4-5 moronic decisions that really propped up Vegas' team, so no matter what SEA did, the team wasn't going to look great. I think they're relying on scarcity of D guys with some upside bets, so they can then trade a lot of these guys and build through the next few drafts.

Relatedly, do we find out the side deals tonight or is that tomorrow?

Domi they probably passed because his cap hit is pretty bad and he just isnt that good, price wise. Only signed for 1 more year and will probably look for even more money.

Hearing Seattle is going to take Colin Blackwell from #NYR ... but there could be a trade in the works (for D Mark Giordano?) that changes the pick and allows Rangers to keep Blackwell.
