Who would go back to Seattle? Could Pavel Buchnevich be part of the exchange? That would be a ridiculous deal, acquiring an aging d-man at a high cap hit for Buch. I sure hope that isn't the case, but given smoke and fire and rumors on Buch moving, nothing would surprise me.

Pretty crazy didn't realize Giordano is 37 years old. I would hope Strome could get us a younger player

Seriously, with Gallant here, Alex Tuch got really good under him and that could be what happens with Gauthier. Very similar body type and skills those two

Also he's not as good as he used to be by any stretch.

He is, however, still a decent defenseman with good feet and a solid leader. You could do a lot worse. Not sure I'd trade Strome for him right now though.

it really only makes sense that something hankey is going on, seeing that if it was Blackwell it's so boring that there's no reason for it not to leak earlier

Let’s not bring up that he is a perfect rental for us to trade now. Trade a second for him now, then you trade him for a first.l at the TDL. Brilliance lol. Oh and he’s hungry, he’s a solid leader, character guy.
