so the isles traded strome to EDM for Eberle and EDM traded strome to us for Spooner. Strome is the last man standing from those deals.

There was a lot of intrigue about whether #SeaKraken would be tempted to take one of the high-priced players the #Flyers dangled.

Hearing the selection was a bit of a surprise: Carsen Twarynski.

Can honestly say I didn't see him plucked in many mock drafts.

Hearing the #SeaKraken preserved more valuable cap space by passing on Ryan Johansen and Matt Duchene in Nashville.

Belief is they will select Calle Järnkrok instead.

A lot of chatter earlier in the year that GMs “learned” from the Vegas draft. Maybe what that meant was they learned it doesn’t make sense to force a salary cap dump by losing picks/prospects (and that skill set of that high priced player).

Think of it like Fleury going to Vegas. Face of the org, jerseys, his wife is from there.. But his salary was to high.
