It made a lot of sense to take him for various reasons, but goalie seems to be loaded for Seattle and better options than Price

Sources say #SeaKraken also passed on another high-profile, big money player: Vladimir Tarasenko.

The end result: Toronto traded prospect Filip Hallander and a 7th round pick to Pittsburgh to essentially protect their roster from Seattle.
