That episode is amazing. When his hand flies off and he starts yelling, "NOBODY LOOK! NOBODY LOOK!" - Rinosaur
The fact that Reginald VelJohnson was the judge was amazing. I loved watching family matters as a kid |

I think he's going to cost around the same as Pettersson. - Rinosaur
Yeah i agree. Obviously risto has a big market and I’m sure Zadorov will too. I guess that should spare us from either though. |

Says the guy lashing out over the fact that non-explicitly written rules can't determine ones actions. You would poop your pants if you ever took a torts class and learned about common law. Take your theoretical BS somewhere else. |

What are you talking about?
It's not "common law" it's a CBA, and words matter
Are you arguing that rules don't have to be explicit? If so, then it proves my point that the NHL can do what they want and just say "That's what we meant by that, even though that's not what it says"
Or are you arguing that the rules have to be explicit? If so, then if is not written anywhere that the trade can't be enacted using Detroit as a 3rd party, and if the NHL overrode such a deal it would be an exact example of them making things up as they go
Or if they did let it go and it was a legal trade then it would the be the same net result of a direct SEA-MTL trade which sort of defeats the purpose of having the original rule in there anyways, if all you need is a "go-between" to bypass it

Expansion draft day b!tches. Looking forward to it. Have questions though. If there's a trade freeze there can still be deals with Seattle regarding the draft tonight though, right? If there are deals in place did they have to be set in place before the trade freeze? |

I'm only skeptical of Danault because of his offense. He just doesn't finish enough or create enough offense on his own to be worth the premium price tag.
Averaging 11 goals per season might not cut it for a team that will desperately need secondary scoring. That's about the same output as Blueger. He's a better player than Blueger but I'd be hesitant to give him money and term. - YouMeAndDupuis9
Sorry, accidentally flagged when trying to comment :/
If you use line tool NST with the three listed on the line, it looks like Danault is heavily carried by Gallager and Tatar, like not just a bit.

Thank you for changing the topic. My thumb was getting tired of scrolling.
Ahh you mean like any side deal to avoid picking a player? I thought all of those were probably agreed upon when protection lists were published |

Seravalli reporting Kraken are going to sign Oleksiak and Larsson, so the picks from Dallas and Oilers are known. |

That probably eliminates the idea of Pettersson considering those picks are likely round out their 2nd pair.

Really??
Mixed feelings about that.

The plus about losing Zucker is the Pens can have the room to replace him with Coleman or Saad.
Moving Pettersson is probably hard to be a 100% dump, but I think the Pens can probably still save money by moving him and maybe getting a 3rd line winger in return at a lower cap hit. |

Considering Seattle is apparently heavily leaning on analytics I foresee them choosing zar which doesn’t help us at all and weakens our shutdown line. |
