GMs are going to be shifty and shrewd. You have to figure the cap will get a huge bump once this covid stuff is all in the rear view and they’re making money again. I bet in two years it’ll skyrocket then you have no worries. Which would correspond to our kids getting their raises.

Look at Guerin, he’s taking the hit 2 - 3 down the road when the cap will be going up again

We cant afford to include Barron. He will play a major role in cap stabilization if we get Eichel. I could see a third line of Kreider, Barron, Goodrow.

I highly doubt the Rangers will turn down the trade if Buffalo wants him in the deal. While he has some promise I don't see him as an untouchable at all

Yeah that's a rumor I didn't understand. Horvat is a really good player. Buch is real good too, but that'd be a bad trade for Benning unless there was more going with Buch.
