I am calling it now….. the Kraken draft Tarasenko and flip him to the Rangers for a first in next years draft. Then the Rangers move Strome, Deangelo, their first this year, their 2nd next year and the rights to Buchnevich to Buffalo for Eichel and a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

I think Raty holds potential to go in the 1st round. Definitely not top 10 but some teams could be fine with his high risk/high reward.

Dunno - my thought on leaving Kampf unprotected was I didn't figure there was anyway that Seattle would bother drafting him -thereby effectively giving you a freebie add to the unprotected list with almost no chance of being selection.

I feel like that’s a fair, good value contract for a 2nd pair Dman (maybe 1st pair on Kraken). Although his Corsi & Fenwick numbers say that he’s a bum 🤷🏻‍♂️ Red font.

A week or so ago, when when Corey Pronmen asked fans to send him the places (besides the Athletic) they read for mock draft and prospect coverage, my stuff in Lines.com was the first someone threw up there.
I saw it later that week.
He then today (I guess) spent the time to take those and others and and made a consensus list.

He then gives credit to all the sites, and Lines/me are nowhere in site.

The guy that had the top 18 picks right forever and published.

All the rounds up forever and published, as opposed to the first round posers and top 100 prospects that started showing up recently.

No risk if you set your heights on a guy who will help you in a less prominent role, but might blossom with time into what we all thought was going to surface already....

Interesting sidenote: the NHL sent out a memo two days ago reminding teams that only Seattle could talk to free agents during its exclusive window and that teams had to wait until July 28 to approach other team's free agents.

The Kraken had talks with Dougie Hamilton's camp but ultimately that did not lead to a contract, source says. So he won't be among the Seattle picks in the expansion draft. Doesn't mean Seattle can't circle back July 28 when the market opens for everyone.

I'm little surprised that Edm didn't offer that much or more for Larsson. Do you think he just wanted out? Is Keith the only player that wants to be in Edm?

Cannot see them selecting de Haan or Zad now. Too many other (cheaper/younger/better?) D options available.

Not necesarily, of Vegas 30 picks, 13 were defenseman. Everyone needs defenseman, the Knights used many for trade bait.
