Its speculation at this point. But I am 2 for 2 so far with leddy and ladd. So why not 3. Also I am hearing Lehner to NJ. See if I can make it 4 for 4

it's an aggressive contract for sure but it's not like Bobrovski where he isn't playing up to the contract.

One of the top 3 goaltenders in the league.. Wife from Seattle I believe. They have to spend at least 60% of the 81.5 mill. If he actually need surgery they can move him next summer when he is healthy or at the Trade deadline of 2023. unless they have everyone they are taking written down and it doesn't fit under the cap.. they should take him for sure.

I think Price is a little overrated, still a very good goalie...but overrated. And I think his contract is absolutely putrid.

If he was a top goaltender in the league I can't imagine why MTL would risk losing him

But yes, Bobrovsky is in the running for worst contract in the entire league. No argument there.

If we were to buy out Komorov how much would we actually save? Anyone know?

Schwein told us someone on the Oilers thread said they were going to take him. That’s good enough for me.

He’d cost 1.6 this year, and a bit more than half mill the year after. So Lou would have roughly an additional 1.4 in play money this year.

He said someone was talking on a thread or something about Seattle probably going with Eberle. I don’t even remember exactly what he said I was being sarcastic with chiefs

Edit
This is what he said not that there’s any point in continuing with this I will none the less;

FWIW, every non Islander hockey fan I’ve talked to thinks the obvious choice is Eberle. He and Bailey are the same age, play the same position, make damn near the same amount of coin and each have 3 years left on their current contract. But Eberle scores more goals, and that’s always gonna be a highly desired quality.

Again I was being sarcastic it had nothing to do with his post

I’ll also say if Seattle goes with an established, salaried, nhl player pick I disagree and say they go with Bailey.

Well, considering that Seattle doesn't have a roster yet, it's a little tricky. But I think they can negotiate with teams to select certain players as opposed to others.

Watch them select Price, run short of cap space and screw up all our prognosticating by selecting Ross Johnston.

They’re either going Bailey or a young cost controlled player like bellows imo.

I hope we give him a shot if they don’t pick him. I liked the kids game.

I would not mind Bellows getting a shot on the 3rd line but I wonder if that will be Parise?

I believe Parise will be on this team but if bellows is still here after the expansion draft have to give the kid some looks.

He’s going to be a goal scorer. But probably not with the Islanders.
