Agree UIF, I think Bailey is the better all around player as well. Plays PP and PK when needed. However, I don’t think Bailey would be on the team since Trotz took over if he didnt do his job consistently. I think Bailey is a pretty consistent player as far as what his game is and what to expect. I guess that’s where Me and a lot of people on here will disagree. One thing for sure he’s been pretty consistent in the POs the last few years.

No, I agree with you...I think he's a consistently good player. Bailey won me over for good this year after Lee went down. We all wondered where the offense would come from and, while it was sort of under-the-radar, Bailey picked up the slack maybe more than any other player.

What I was trying to say is where he contributes, specifically, is inconsistent. It could be offense for a few games, then for a few games after that he's offensively inept but strong defensively. Then he makes a few defensive blunders but makes up for it in another area, etc. I guess my point is he's a hard player to pin down, which makes him harder to replace than a player you can put into a box (this guy's a sniper, this guy's a stay-at-home D, this guy's a checking forward, etc.).

Totally agree with your Bailey assessment

He’s as Trotz calls him a Swiss Knife.

Not islanders, related but price will need knee surgery and is out for next season. Iou is a genius to be able to trade ladd. We did give up Alot but its worth it

And he miraculoulsy comes back for the playoffs and his cap hit doesn't count. The Tampa formula.
