B.C. Boy. - Benny Blanco
I just read Price is owed an 11 million dollar signing bonus in September. Would be tough for Seattle to pay that before he even plays a game. |

Myers has the potential to become as good of a player as Ellis is. Possibly even better. He has strong physical tools. - MJL
i dont see it, but that would explain why he was drafted so high |

We should get Price for Sandstrom. We will win that trade for sure. |

Yeah but the comments donât make sense. âWith Patrick out of the way, now Frost can playâ. Frost wasnât being held back by anything. In fact, if Frost could stay healthy, Iâm sure the coaching staff would have happily sat Patrick. Even when Frost was healthy, he wasnât doing much. - SuperSchennBros
But I get them saying it clears the path for frost. I think fletcher will have a filled out line up with maybe 1 spot open on the 0, maybe 2 but only one where Patrick and frost fit |

Frost is an unknown quantity. Anyone who says different is spitballing. He has a very small sample of NHL games. He's also had trouble staying healthy. Counting on him is foolish. - PLindbergh31

Iâve been saying all summer our fans have been so damn annoying with complaining about Fletcher. (frank)ing Christ. The guy does exactly what everyone female doged, moaned and doubted about since the offseason started. Yet so many are still complaining lol. So many fans even said Chuck wonât do anything heâs so dumb yada yada yada. Goes out and trades for a top pairing RD, but here we are still complaining. Some fans, man. How miserable are you in your life?
Myers absolutely has potential but for a guy with his size, and Iâd say same could be said about Sanheim, he has no clue how to use his size. So many often times Myers gets shy with physical play, and I think itâs safe to say opposing teams recognized this. Maybe heâll figure it out, but maybe he wonât. |

At first I thought you had actually attained some command over language
But then the bubble burst. Because egos, by definition, are always "self-inflated". That prefix is redundant.

There is having an ego a big ego and then the next level. The farce is you wander around the inflated ego world yet donât even realize your not half as smart as you think you are. |

Really? This is your argument? 30 is 30 something and with Patrick gone, regardless of how bad he was last season, thatâs still a hole. A team that built a contender and I mean literally built a contender out of spare parts still sees Patrick as good enough to play. - SuperSchennBros
30 something is a way of implying he is somewhere past 30 lol. If you think 30 is too old then lol. Everyone said nisky was so old he would suck. How did that prediction turn out again |

Let me put you out of your misery, my esteemed fellow Flyers fan, since your ability to read anything (my novels or Pornhub moaning captions) are likely comparable to you misreading 21-22 as 20-21.
The Athletic has a model of a player's contribution called Game Score Value Added, which uses data for past 3 years. You can read about the model here.
Based off that model, they generated scores for Ellis. Then they looked at most similar scores for other players around his age in the past decade. Then they looked at how those players fared. Then they extrapolated off that to project Ryan Ellis.
And there were many other players on that list. - PT21
You know whatâs funny about all the advanced metrics , itâs always relevant until itâs not. How old is Ryan McDonaugh, he looked pretty damn good for the Lightning. |

Your wish is my command.
The likelihood of the Flyers having a much better next season went up. The likelihood of the Flyers winning a cup in the next ten years went down.
Flyersbuzz = 2 camps. Those who are happy were those who cannot â or do not â care about the distinction. Those unhappy focus largely on the latter.
The rest is detail and the usual cat fights.

Probably because Myers is 25 and you replace him with Cam York who is 20 years old. - Richieattack18
Kind of, I was referring to the entire teamâs average ageâŚplus the team just gained valuable experience in an important role.
As a side note, I like Myers and am still rooting for a big comeback by Patrick. The cost in trade is what it is. I am not going to pretend I think they arenât good players now that they are gone. I wanted a stable partner with Provorov, and I think it was a fair trade. I also donât think we can call either one a prospect. The team still has many young players, tons of prospects and a wealth of draft picks going forward. This was not a major shift. So far so good.
Also, no one has health guarantees. Myers has missed time each season with injury and Patrick had the gap. Ellis missing small amounts isnât a red flag to me. |

Yea Iâm at page 7 and give up. I get the gist of it. Thanks.
I really dgaf about Patrick. But I wasnât ready to give up on Meyers. There are still plenty of needs that need to be filled. |

Just food for thought... Due to NHL injury policy , the following is just pure speculation based on the facts. Ellis injuries were Knee injury (possible ACL/MCL ) four years ago ( in NHL stanley cup finals , with unlucky pirouette... Followed by a concussive elbow from Corey Perry... And this year a head to head collision that required some kind of upper body surgery ( also unknown, we can speculate based on time missed about 2 months ( maybe upper extremity or clavicle injury)and possible concomitant concussion. I am unsure these qualify as "breaking down" or age related... Thanks |

I never gave up on the kid, but Iâll take the sure fire steady defenseman who is a reliable PK guy and can make smart passes.
The cap hit isnât unreasonable for a first pairing RHD, and his style shouldnât be the type that falls to pieces in 3-4 years.
Pretty stalwart player. He can handle heavy minutes.
Best of luck to Phil, but I think we did okay, especially considering that York and Zamula are in the pipeline. Philly can afford this deal. |

I'd be interested to hear from the haters of this trade, if you were going to trade for ellis, who has a good cap hit for a #1RHD and fits EXACTLY what we need. What would you trade to get him if not meyers? They aint taking Jake or JVR or Ghost. |
