What am I missing here? Is the expectation is to step on the ice in your first game and become incredible within three years? |

They traded for a MUCH better player….Myers potential and I guess Cody Glass’s potential are what they got in return. It’s great to have a whole bunch of guys with potential , but eventually a team has to have guys with more the unrealized potential. |

Not sure if it's been said already, but this trade means that Seattle is now either getting Voracek, or someone from our bottom six or bottom D-pairing. If you run the the probable protection list for a 7-3-1 on the Flyers roster now, you can easily see them protecting: Giroux, Hayes, JVR, Konecny, Couturier, Lindblom, and Laughton at forward. On Defense they could protect Provorov, Ellis, and Sanheim. At goalie they protect Hart.
This leaves the only two significant players that could be taken, Voracek and Ghost. Everyone else is lower line/pairing players that are easily replaceable and on affordable contracts. |

I mean it doesn’t change much. For a while now it was going to be a depth player, Ghost or Jake to most of us. If I were Seattle right now I’d be taking Hagg and be looking for my scoring elsewhere. |

Who essentially would be the next forward / Dman to protect? They clearly want nothing to do with ghost. NAK, the walking penalty? Please take a bigger contract from us |
