Not out of shape by average Joe standards. But he did not look like a professional athlete playing an aerobic sport.

If you're talking about all the recent shirtless shenanigans, keep in mind that he's basically been a walking keg this past week. Being pasty and hairy doesn't help either.

Yep. Ever been on the field for an NFL practice? Amazing how fast and gracefully some those big fat guys can move.

This is not a knock on fletch by any means but nisky was a decent move. Him retiring I don’t think was reason team ranked this year. Nisky played like poop in playoffs 2 years ago. Ran out of gas. It is what it is. The bruan move I hated and still hate. Player just doesn’t do it for me to move draft capital like they did. 2nd/3rd too much IMO but debatable I gues. Pitlick move I liked. Which made me hate it more that we let him leave? And now want what he brings? None of these on the whole make me confident or negative toward fletch so far. I look at these as deals to tweak roster that need to be made almost on a yearly basis and decisions geared toward a grand plan. These next few weeks should and better start to paint a picture or it will clearly tell everyone status quo

I believe nisky played like poop bc he was done. Locked away in a hotel with little to nothing to do, away from his family, isolated and alone.... He decided it wasn't for him anymore. He already made millions doing what he loves to do so it wasn't a big deal to walk away from his last season.
That's my opinion of the nisky situation. From all accounts the bubble lifestyle was brutal and apparently even this past season was brutal onany players. As a family man I feel that and I don't blame nisky at all.
Now to CF... I may be in the minority but I am excited to see what he can do. He had his pulse on this team 2 seasons ago when he added the right guys that made us the best team in the NHL for the last part of the season. That's impressive! He didn't make any big, flashy moves they got everybody excited he just made the Right moves. I have full faith in CF right now. I'm excited to see what happens. I think he already has some. Plans ready to announce after the ED

That presser was what right after the Finals or the day after?

That is a 12-14% body fat body.

But that time is so often and it is so intense! It is essentially one manic long burst of interval training and that is just game time.

Some guys just have ugly bodies. You can have body fat and still have good cardiovascular fitness.

You remember Stacy Andrews, brother of Shawn, OL for Eagles 13-15 odd years ago? He could dance ballet, and do a somersault flip from a 3 meter board and enter pool without a ripple. All at well over 300 lbs.

Judging by his speech, he was probably already half a case of champagne in before he hit the stage.

Well being coots is an average 1c to begin with and we’re not winning with him anyways and hopefully not signing that big deal contract with him the answer would be who knows but you’ll have options… trade? Move up in draft? Free agent? That’s to be seen
- Stayin alive

Coots for a late 20s 1st round pick, a d prospect and Alex tuch is maybe one of the worst proposals made. Ever

You know, that's exactly what I was thinking. You just won the "world championship" and you are drinking.... Bud Light? Bud Light? You are a young man and you are wasted on Bud Light? Are you kidding me, indeed!! Bud Light tastes like piss.

Get a decent beer, man!!

I didn't really find his body ugly or anything and I would be saying that from a fragile crystal palace if I did. I was just surprised how ordinary he looked. Especially for the sport he plays. Good for him, though. I am all for ordinary looking people.

BINGO!!! Thank God CF isn't listening to Stayin Alive. VGK wouldn't do it because they'd be thinking CF either lost his friggin mind or was just trolling them.

his projected contract is just under 5 for 6 years, not about signing him, trying to get an idea of Jakes value today, for the next 3 years.

So it doesn't update automatically? Super weird.

Your Internet voice is very young. Unlike Claudefather - almost the same age as you, who I used to think was an embittered 65 year old man with sun-parched skin who owns a lot of guns, a Town Car with a flag, and who insisted his bloody mary be made with clamato juice when he went weekly to Atlantic City.

The seismic shock for me was to find out MJL was 55+. For a decade+ I thought he was some teenager/young twenties dude working off some steam. It (frank)ing' floored me, man.

Exactly. And a certain someone said recently that Seattle could flip him for a first if they wanted with salary withheld.

Imagine that. They would be needing to hold back 3-4 mil + for 3 years to get a first. That's a steep price to pay for any random first.

probably close but if Schwartz can get 6 years at 4.875 I think Jake is closer to 5.875 over 3 years. Only way I do it is if I get a 3rd team in, give them a pick to retain and flip jake for full value back. Or if his cap being gone gets us the player we need to change up the mix.

Yes your right… coots for mcdavid. My bad. Is that better. Did you wake up yet? Please do tell what you think a player with 1 year remaining on contract that will turn 30 and want his big term big $ career contract will fetch you?

What would philly trade to acquire this type player ? Schwartz mentioned to day… he’s a top line winger age 29.

Would you give up tk / 1st round pick/ and top d prospect for Schwartz so you can sign him big $ well into his mid to late 30’s ?

No? Exactly! Sho sho little fly

The fact that you have Schwartz valued equally to Couturier is all we really need to know about your argument. Whether you like it or not Couturier is a top line center in the NHL.

So just throwing this out there… suter/parise buyouts are prime example of things that will happen over next few weeks and shows how easy it is to move Jake. Teams are going to be moving and making many deals and transactions
