I actually believe that Podkolzin is a legit top 6 player, but then again, I also believed that about Jake the Fake.
Podkolzin is 1 of the reasons I am optimistic about the Canucks moving up to the bottom 10-17 this season.
Hopefully they can upgrade on Tanev this season.

Hey I seen your roster on CF. Pretty decent . A couple prices needed to be higher but not much. One thing I don't agree with was the waiting. If you wait until you conditions are perfect you will never get things done and a lot will pass you by.

They never seem to work out on the West Coast.

I loved it when he came over, Krutov not so much, ate himself out of a job. The Canucks cheaped out on an additional 250k payment, iirc, to the Russians to keep Larionov's rights. He went back for 2 years and came back as a ufa with SJ. Played great for them as they knocked out Det in the playoffs as a huge upset. Then became a Red Wing and was the perfect fit for many Cups... Once again the Canucks will Canuck 😣

I believe if you read the story again, Larionov did not want them to pay to the corrupt system. Not all on the Canucks.
