K.Versteeg said he watched him alot this last year and looked good , still very smart player, and he is a fitness freak , so it would not surprise me to see him do well

Thanks Carol, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Seattle take one of Vancouver’s pending UFA’s as their selection. They don’t have an AHL team, probably don’t want to pay for development years if they don’t have to (though they will need a few guys for injury replacement).

Vasily Podkolzin is a solid bet to become an NHLer, but the fact that he was drafted 2 years ago and still hasn't cracked an NHL equivalency of 20 makes it very unlikely that he will become a star. #Canucks

Man Podz keeps getting bigger. Can't wait for camp. His style in the NHL will be more productive. He could be a good fit on any line. That's a win.

I seen Keith play a few times last year , he looked fine. I think this trade you have to wait to see how it plays out. Maybe Barrie wants 7 mil?

May want 7mil. Doubt he gets that much being the type of dman he is and the points racked up playing with Mc Drai. But say 6 mil or even 6.5. Thats only 500k/1m more than Keith with better and proven with the Coilers numbers. Unless Barrie said "Thanks, but i'm out" way too much for Keith dollar wise, let alone assets as well. Now the dman rumoured to be exposed for E-draft is gone so that needs replacing as well, so you lose another piece in this deal.
