Thanks Carol. Are you sure OJ is e-draft exempt? Other media have him taking a slot.

Was neutral on a bargain OEL trade. Now that one of the biggest Canuck haters is dead against it; then, it should be looked as a good move.

Might solve some cap shuffling as well.

All the better to pull of some e-draft deals with cap and protection room. Is a RSD and a hefty center available?

I was thinking of his name right from the moment it was mentioned. I know he is signed for 6 years but I see 4-5 productive years as he would approach the age of 35. He has been better than any D we had including Edler.

Moving Roussel Beagle and Eriksson is 12 mil in cap space moved and Coyotes save in real dollars . It is a win for both teams . The savings would be close to 4 mil of cap space and also we would not need to sign Edler.

He had 24 points in 48 games which is not bad at all. It addresses a top 4 LHD for four years. I would do the deal.

I think Benning will make an offer that involves sending back at least one decent cap hit back to ARZ, people forget he played hardball with Arizona last year.

Toewes admitted to being a COVID long-hauler. This might create some pause on who, P1 effected Canucks, will remain below 100%. Some like OJ and Demko were reported to have been harder hit.

Yet the haters will laugh and call it an excused despite the fact that an illness that effects your lungs ran through most of the team. There’s data out there on NBA players who had it and they ran less and ran slower after returning from it. #Excuses #BlindHate

I can see why some Canuck fans would be paranoid about what Benning will do.

On Abbotsford...

Q; Do you know why Mennonite's aren't allowed to make love standing up?

A; It may lead to dancing.

You may think this is a non factor but did any Canuck return to 100%?

Do we know enough about P1 long term effects?

For an athlete where every small percent of health counts toward competitive edge this could play a role.

Well he's doing his dual troll work but as I've told him within that there is truth. Like studies on long term effects.

Time will tell the long term effects of both the virus and the vaccine. H1n1 caused narcolepsy in a lot of people and so did it's vaccine, especially in young children.

Did you read my post?

It’s not a non-factor, the Raptors who had it all ran less and ran slower after returning

Thanks Carol

Loui .....After Seattle takes Holtby, couldn't they do Loui and a 3rd, or Loui and 50% for futures?
I kinda feel bad for the guy. We had no back up. Click with the twins, or bust. But the cream rises.....or in the Canucks case curdled.
Pod for the 3rd line.
No idea who to draft...There are experts on here that know way better than I.
OEL, no way in hell..We are on the precipice of losing a boat anchor, to trade for an acme 10000000 pound weight?

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer

I might not see you, being so high up (being scared of heights) the advice I got was to not look down.

An interesting tidbit in this weekend’s episode of
@CanucksConvo
with Aidan McDonough is that this is the first time he’s working with a power skating coach. The Canucks recommended it and he’s now with one of the best.

Expect his skating to drastically improve this offseason.

I’ve been watching Michigan all morning to get a better feel on Kent Johnson but I gotta say, 2020 draft pick Jacob Truscott looks like a very smart defender.
He does a good job of being aggressive in the neutral zone and using angles and stick-checking in his own defensive zone.

Alexander Radulov for Nate Schmidt

I agree

I traded Schmidt instead to NJ for a 3rd round pick.

Used that 3rd round pick they got for Schmidt to trade for Alexander Kerfoot from Toronto.

Then I swapped back the Canucks and Chicago 4th and 5th round picks for Van taking Brett Connelly.

Miller Petey Boeser
Pearson Horvat Hogz
Connelly Kerfoot Podz
Roussell Beagle Motte
Highmore

Signed Petey 8 years 9.725
Hughes 6 years 6

Hughes Myers
Rathbone
Juolevi

Demko
Holtby

4.1M in cap space left for 4 defenders.

Would need Seattle to take Roussel or Holtby to create extra cap space.

Basically, the Hawks say that since the Blackhawks player Aldrich allegedly assaulted in 2010 was not a minor, not disabled and not in a care facility, management didn't have to report it. Here's the full paragraph:

That's just disturbing that they wouldn't whether the law says or not. Or at least advises the player to do it instead.

Wow...University of Michigan has an absolutely stacked team!! Top six players are all high draft picks or about to be high draft picks.
