You are all missing the point - If you're mad at the team for how they handled your neck injury, and want surgery, and somehow can't play hockey but can play golf, go swimming, do numerous outdoor recreational activities, drive your car, do anything... it sounds to me like you aren't injured.

If you can't play hockey or shoot the puck, you can't play golf or swing the club, it's that simple.

I already addressed that last night - he said he had problems shooting the puck. It's the same damn motion as swinging a golf club.

The contact removed, he still had issues skating and shooting the puck, which is why they shut him down for the year.

And yeah, not gonna be swimming too much with a neck injury. you can do underwater therapy. Things like that.

Shooting a puck and swinging a golf are similar but not the same, plus there is more impact/vibration up your body when shooting a puck
