Ryan Nugent Hopkins has to be the funniest . He was signed a week ago.

Reinhart might be a fit here but would rather keep the pick. Not sure chucking UFA cash at Armia is the way to go.
If Schmidt wants out then bye bye but like Carol said and I said it before I would like to see a full 82 game shed with Schmidt I have a feeling and agree with Carol I think he would get back to his Vegas-like numbers. But if there is tension move on.
Don't want to move OJ at all he'll be fine.
The D needs work. Kind of a priority. Which is why I want Edler gone to me keeping him here hampers the team at this point. When injuries hit Edler will be back to 25 min per game and we can't have that. Start the build around Hughes now. Acquire the complimentary D that he needs to succeed and all will be well. Use Schmidt (if he doesn't want to stay) maybe in hockey trade for a comparable D? OEL is not the answer either. His numbers are dwindling rapidly and maybe if they retained half his salary in a Schmidt deal...but not likely. - LordHumungous
Did you get the vaccine? Because you're finally making some sense
Don't want Edler back, but the D needs a lot of work. Would like for them to land Adam Larsson and keep Schimdt, but I know that's probably not going to happen... however:
Hughes - Larsson
Schmidt - Hamonic
Rathbone - Hakanpaa |

You’re wrong there, Canuck Twitter is an uncanny reflection of this place and there are many more “people” there. - 1970vintage
Yes Twitter is a reflection of Canucks real feelings . I counted 9 people showing up at the Fire Benning rally and I think one of them was a reporter
My Twitter is really quiet . I blocked about 30 people and and about 10 media . I am sure 40 people of the real voice |

Maybe Oilers fans were searching for RNH buyouts before he signed that contract, they aren’t exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer. |

No way man aint touching that garbage...personal choice. Maybe after 2023 when it actually passes clinical trials lol
Agree I would like Larsson was well with Schmidt. I'm not down on Schmidt like others. Just needs a full season. Guaranteed he will leave Van and have a 'Vegas' style season somewhere else. The Canuck way lol

Ok then I disagree, as not all true fans recognized a rebuild was needed. |
|
|
|
There are a few people I follow, on both sides of the line, but they’re the reasonable sorts who can actually have a discussion. But when someone likes, replies or retweets something it ends up on my timeline, so occasionally see long threads of insane arguments. Mostly I skip past - 1970vintage
Even Imac and Kuzma have some unfavorable things to say . Not a big deal .

Well, lets just say there's a much higher chance of seeing 2023 if you have the vaccine lol
I think Schmidt will be fine, bad year on a bad team with a mountain of excuses. He's a top 4 guy... prefer him to Myers. Larsson would be a good add, but I think Edmonton will resign him. |

Elliotte Friedman's "33 Thoughts" - everyone knows this but he's saying it publicly.
9. Vancouver’s looking for defence and a centre with some heft. Sportsnet’s Iain MacIntyre reported Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson are looking at short-term deals for cap reasons. As has been reported, they are working to find a new home for Nate Schmidt. - Pacificgem
Short term deals, just going to run into the same problem a few years from now. Always going to be tight when you have good players. |

lol pretty sure I'll be just fine. Curious though...why are all the 'variants' named after fraternities from College Hollywood movies? Delta...Lambda...lol. Animal House and Revenge of the Nerds? Funny...
Agree I think Holland will bring Larsson back. Schmidt will be fine here if he stays. Expecting good things. |

As long as Benning is in charge, they will be treading water at best. |

I was just reminded by someone posting on Twitter that Detroit are now taking calls on Bertuzzi. He could be a name of interest.
Wonder what is up with Stevie Y . Last year selling Mantha now Bert is on the block. |

Every teams got them but Jim Benning is certainly in a league of his own, and that's not a good thing |

The Canucks are close, they just need to rebuild the defense, put together a capable bottom six that can play in the NHL and add 2 more top 6 players. |
