going to go and pick one up tonight.
I received the https://www.weber.com/CA/...ters-and-timers/7204.html as a gift and a cover. - Makita
I really did like that feature but I guess i'll just keep using my thermopro. I'll pick up my grill next week because it's absolutely pouring rain today and I didn't have straps with me. |

It's funny and yet sad at the same time, we don't go downtown very much anymore because of it. When I was a teenager my mom would take me down to Paul's Motor Inn for a mushroom burger and we'd chat, now it's gone, because Lisa bought the Inn and put a bunch of homeless in there.
Now the iconic White Spot across the street has closed up shop because of issues with homeless, crime and generally no one going there because they have to deal with the homeless, they've been there forever.....sad. - Pacificgem
Didn’t the mayor of Vancouver years ago give a bunch of homeless free bus tickets and food vouchers to Chilliwack? Maybe Victoria should do the same. |

Don't get me started, downtown Victoria, back in the 80's, was a great place, it's now full of human waste and garbage, businesses boarded up....it's a disgrace!! - Pacificgem
Ya it's sad. Until you get past Parksville into the Comox Valley the lower portion of Van Island is turning into a sh!thole. From Victoria-Nanaimo-Duncan on up...

Hughes skillset is a much needed commodity, however, until the organization is purged of it's garbage management and coaching, don't expect any changes in outcome #bottom10 - Pacificgem

The comments about why they think they select the player
9. Vancouver Canucks: William Eklund, LW, Djurgarden-SHL
I don’t think William Eklund will be around when Vancouver makes the ninth overall selection, but they’d be ecstatic if he was. Since the Canucks’ hold on the 9th overall pick was established at the draft lottery, we’ve been through four mock drafts at The Athletic (one from Corey, one from Scott and two including all NHL staff), and in those four mocks the Canucks have selected Mason MacTavish, Kent Johnson (x2) and now Eklund. All are great value at ninth overall if they’re still there, which just goes to illustrate that with very little separating the prospects behind Power and Beniers, the Canucks are quietly in a very enviable spot. They don’t get to pick their prospect, but they’re going to at least get the remaining member of the so-called top nine, so long as they don’t trade out of the spot (possible, but unlikely) or overthink it. -Thomas Drance |

Campbell River has turned into a super dangerous city now. Lots of drug and gang activity. The south island is great outside of downtown. |

Ya true was there a few years back for a big car show and it was sketchy literally everywhere. Victoria is still beautiful outside of the downtown core but according to my cousin who has lived there forever says problems are filtering out of downtown into urban areas quite rapidly.
Nanaimo seemed to be getting pretty sketchy everywhere too. Much outside of the downtown areas and what is with that place? It's like half the folks can't even walk upright there? lol
We've been looking at retirement properties in the Courtenay/Comox regions but prices are getting high quickly. Crazy expensive to live and retire out there. But I did live in the Comox Valley for quite awhile and loved it there.

A lot of those country folk out in Metchosin need a rotisserie to roast the rabbits they catch for dinner, so I imagine he's got one with the Weber. - Pacificgem

I bit the bullet on the Napoleon Prestige500 with side and rear infrared burners today. It comes standard with rotisserie.
I think it was the last one in the maritimes. Amazingly, I got a bit of a discount because it was a floor model. Saved $75 and it's assembled.
Still set me back $1800 though. - golfingsince
