What a run.
Very proud of our team. They really gave it their all.
Very proud of the amazing members of the #Optobus.
It's been quite the ride this year, and you guys were a big part of it.
Thank you.
 - Scabeh
No shame in losing to a better team. You have some very good young players there who know what it takes now to win playoff series and get to the finals. Invaluable.
Suzuki and Caulfield are the real deal. Price is elite when on his game. Congrats on a great run. Have to admit I was wrong about what you could accomplish. |

ty for such a great example of delusional thinking.
Thank you Habs for a magical and unexpected run!!...the young guns on this team are so exciting...and can't wait for next season already...we will lick our wounds and come back to play the Tampa Cross Checkers/Cap Cheaters next season....

The off season will be both interesting and likely painful. Unless Bergy makes a play for a 1-2 defenseman? I'm ok with him giving our late 1st to Seattle to keep our top 4 and Allen. They played such good and hard minutes for us, I can't see losing them.
Same with Armia, Lekky, and Byron, tbh. Byron is the "easy" choice, but even when he's not scoring, he's so solid I hate to lose him. I don't envy Bergy this off-season. |

Will be interesting to see how much of that team they will be able to keep toguether.
Savard is gone and they will lose another good D most likely (to Seattle). |

I wouldn't be giving a 1st to hold on to Chiarot for one more season. I wouldn't be giving a 1st to keep a backup goalie. Remember the lessons from Vegas. You're going to lose somebody, accept it, don't do like Columbus, for example. Somebody will go, it is what it is. Don't throw away a 1st for guys you wouldn't get a 1st for if trading them straight up.
Just my opinion |

He was drunk and it was more of a "poop they have fans who care, we have Florida fans who only show up if we're good." Seemed more a comment of jealousy acting as a defense mechanism but came across pretty transparent to me. If anybody cares they can remember it in four months but get over it, to the victor goes the spoils and nobody can say anything about it |

I'm feeling like Cameron Grimes this morning, yeah, he's playing butler to the Million Dollar Champ, but the future for this team?

I wanted to hear him first. It did not sound good.
Good for them. Great player but no class.
Say what you want about Crosby but that's why I love the guy.
Anyway. Seattle draft is next and the trade market is about to open. |

let's say Seattle picks Allen, do they trust Primeau to be the back up next season? |

Oh I'm not defending his comments. We only get so many moments to show who we are, he had his and it is what it is. At the same time, they won so he gets his moment. My mother would be ashamed of me if I did something like that in that moment, maybe he was raised differently. Either way, it's his moment and he earned it and he can spend it how he chooses. If his comments upset the Habs, beat him next time |

At the same time, Allen may not have been in the playoffs, but we wouldn't have been even close without him.
And the top 4? We wouldn't have made the finals without them eating minutes like they did.
Sad thing? Part of me wonders if sitting KK was a strategy to get him to sign a cheaper bridge contract. It's easy to look back and judge, but with KK being such an important part of our future? Last night, having to watch? Must have sucked HARD. |

I say they hire another guy. Primeau needs development time and to play regularly in the AHL. |

No I legitimately went to bed with it being 0-0 in the 2nd and woke up at 5am after having a dream that the Lightning won 1-0 and Vasi won the Conn Smythe. It was really weird and makes me wonder if I checked my phone in the night and forgot
Very fun run for the Habs. Hopefully it keeps the love of the sport going. We need a Canadian market to go deep every now and then. |

Florida fans wouldn't show up until the second half, if at all, when the Miami Heat had Lebron et all. Florida sports fans aren't fans for the most part, just people trying to be seen at a high profile event. Florida is literally the worst place for so many reasons that rank way higher than how poopty their sports fans are but they're possibly the worst fans in North American sports |
