don't bother engaging in butt hurt Ranger's trolls in here.. they contantly bring up DP.. they have had decades of the worst contracts in NHL history but somehow bring up the Isles one where the guy got injured.. retarded.

Holik, Redden, Gomez, Staal, D'angelo, Richards, Shattenkirk, Kreider..etc. etc. etc... they are a team history of bad trades and contracts.

Rangers fans... Yankees fans attitude with Cubs history.

Clutterbuck is worth every penny he is getting paid. He was friggin fantastic in the playoffs.. Hits everyone, always gets puck out of zone, kills penalties, drew penalties and generally drove the other team nuts.

Going to be interesting to see what happens with the 4th line. Have to think Martin is with a couple of new forwards at some point?

I gotta think they are going to keep that line together if they can for a while longer. Out of the 3 I felt like Martin was the least effective in the playoffs.. that said having him out there to stop other team taking a run at guys is much more important than people think.. especially in a long playoff series. Martin dropping the gloves against a guy like Maroon is big..

It will be an interesting summer for Isles for sure. But we have sooo much coming off the cap next year that I could see a bridge contract or 2 to get us to when we have plenty more cap room.

Lou has to be very careful with any contract to Casey with his injury history and the same for Cal when his contract is up.

After seeing RNH's extension with EDM I'm probably more confident than ever that Cizikas will re-sign. His cap hit will probably go down but he'll end up with more term than any of us would have expected.

I do think Casey will re-sign as well. Just wonder how much this 4th line has left with the style they play? I also still like going cheap with the 4th line if at all possible.

Well I think that it's pretty apparent that this team is in win-now mode right now, after back-to-back semi-final appearances. I don't disagree that at some point the 4th line will be disbanded but for now if they can fit Cizikas in then I think he's an important piece to have around for the short-term. Not so sure what will happen with Clutterbuck after the upcoming season though.

I agree cannot see the 4th line left with just Martin and two new players and I'm fine with Casey coming back on a good deal. Maybe next year I can see Cal being let go. If the Isles go with players like Wally and Bellows this year for the 1st and 3rd lines that will save money as well. The Cap will be real tough for the Isles this year and they should have a lot more room the following year. Might as well get a good look at someone like Bellows.

Cal has had so many injuries too... I wouldn't be shocked if he hung em up after next season if they go on another run.. Back surgery is not joke and he had a couple of those I believe. ..crazy.

Totally agree. Clutterbuck was a playoff warrior which is when it counts the most. I think Lou needs to protect him in the expansion draft, as he was more valuable than some of the guys with bigger cap hits.

I think evacuations have started in Tampa. That arena is right on the water it could be completely flooded out and destroyed.

I think the storm surge is predicted to be 1 - 3 feet.
