I think Montreal came out flat and had a bad game. Alot of Tampa's goals were pretty flukey (as was Chiarot's). If they can be more solid defensively and start using their speed to punch back, I don't think Tampa would look so dominant.

That is one way to expose TB but we need to cut down our turnovers, many of their goals are from turnovers from the other end

Am I the only one who finds the refereeing bad? Not saying it really made a difference, but lots of crosschecking, hooking and dangerous plays out there. This is turning ugly and I don't get why the NHL feels like we want hurt players instead of letting talent and exciting play speak...

Yeah it's gotta be tough to come in and play them at their best without any previous games. I think the Habs are capable of making the necessary adjustments much like the Isles were able to, then they have Price too so next game should be a good one.

I think it’s been ok. The rough stuff only started once the score got out of hand.

That got out of hand real quick. Gotta hope they respond like they did against Vegas in game 2.

Third was a massive disappointment. It was a game and they had nothing.

Armia will likely be back Game 2, last time Petry game back in Game 2 and made the difference

100%. Game was on heading into the third and they were duds. Need a quality response in game 2 like they gave against Vegas.

They gotta lucky one in the third, at 2-1.

Habs can go with them, this was a measuring stick.

Itll be closer game 2.

That 3rd goal broke them, any thought of a comeback seemed to vanish when that puck went in.

If the Isles who I seriously believe have less talent than the Habs can take them to game 7, I dont see why they can't get to game 7 and then get a few flukey goals.

I really like Evans, but he does not fit that line. Hope Armia is back there in game 2.

Indeed. I really like that team and the effort they give. More talent up front then some seem to realize.

Cooper whining about a clear penalty when leading 4-1 was also something
