Good point, needs to be taken into consideration. We either need to acquire young players that are controlled or players under contract. The idea of Tkachuk, as an example, scares me. All that would do is kick the can down the road a couple seasons and likely cost even more than overpaying Reinhart now would.

We could really turn things around quickly here if we get good returns, we could also usher in a darker future for the Sabres, even darker than the one they've cultivated today. GMKA best understand he was in the "hot seat" the moment he signed on. The fate of the franchise may rest on these moves.

Agreed, I said this the other day.

I want no part of guys like Domi who you will either look to replace in one year or overpay and then want to upgrade from him shortly after.

If the Lightning ever end up in a spot where they actually have to trade guys the Sabres should be going after Yianni Gourde. He plays the way people think Domi does and is twice is good

Certainly sounds good. I found an old lady from Hungary selling them through the local church here. Amazing. I do want to mention "bacon" to her based on this though.

as a co-worker of mine once said when we were discussing them, "what's not to like?...it's got my favorite foods in there--pasta, mashed potatoes, cheese, butter, onions"

- Michael Pachla

They're good, but the ingredients do tell the tale. Rogis have kraut, potatoes, onions, cheese. Sernik has sugar, heavy cream and eggs.

Rogis never stood a chance.

Haller - great write up, couldn't agree more.

As for matt tkachuk, I'd consider flipping him to another team. Might not fit the age/ lose for top 3 memoranda.

Wood would get a rise out of the Buffalo fan's. ☝️

I read somewhere that Adams prefers futures and is seeking deals that are heavily populated that way.

Thank goodness!

Screw next season, build with an eye and plan for '22-'23 as the season to emerge from the depths of hell. Some combination of:
-Existing players who are 24 or younger, preferably 22 or less.
-Top prospects
-Hgh draft picks in next 2 drafts...'21 and '22

•Let FA be the place to add character types
•Leadership next season comes from The Don and his Staff.
- IonSabres

Only major thing i really disagree with here is that i don’t think we can turn it around in just 1 season
So I’d be shooting for the ‘23-‘24 season to start getting better
Don’t wanna “rush it” and make the same mistakes we did last time

And hopefully with 2 more seasons under their belt, Dahlin & Cozens will have grown into the “leaders” who can take us forward

Hopefully KA isn't delusional and thinks similarly.

After this year, especially if TB wins it, I think the "cap circumvention" issue will be looked at. If they can't work around it anymore they'll have to lose something. He's who'd I'd go after as well.

i used to think Woody was good. Always scored against the Sabres. Then my Devils fan neighbor said yeah but he can't skate or score on breakaways and takes the dumbest penalties of all time. Now that Sabres played them 8 times this year, i see what he means.

There was a report this morning on WGR that KA is looking for futures only in an Eichel Trade.

Pierogis would slip in then I think lol. Oma used to make bigos stew I know...MP, you'd want the recipe and to open a food truck if ya had some...and her own kielbasa sausage that was amazing.

But the thing I miss most about polish cooking in general, can only get it a few places, is that rahsoo stuff. It's glorified chicken noodle soup, but so much f'ing better and no idea what the difference is.

He's an enigma. He played a bit with Bratt and Zacha, did very well. Outside of that he got whalloped with Bastian and McCleod all year long. Some games he can dominate, many he's invisible. Reminds me of tallness to a degree, intangibles are there, can't put it together.
