Every recipe ever loses me at cilantro.

I would rather drink my own piss. Cilantro is the devil.

- BeadyEyedDouche

Interesting, I just read an article about this. You most likely have a genetic reason for not liking Cilantro. Does it smell or taste like soap to you?

I can't say I love it, but it's not bad. GF hates it. Hence the research.

You have OR6A2 olfactory receptor genes if it smells like soap. Something else if it tastes but doesn't smell like soap to ya.

Well that's the whole problem now isn't it? Winning cures everything.

They didn't just not win - The Pegulas took one of the most historically successful teams (They had only missed the playoffs something like 10 or 11 times out of 40 seasons and had a team win% of close to 60%) and drove it completely into the ground to the point where EXPANSION TEAMS have more prestige than us.

They took an all-time respectable franchise and obliterated it's image and product.

(frank) their yacht - I hope it capsizes.

My grandmother would fight you with a wooden spoon over this and you'd lose. She's 10x tougher than I am though, so we're going to let this slide. Watch it though DD.

honestly though, would it even be fair to bring tacos into this discussion?

This is like Cheektowaga residents pooling their money to buy a business and the queen of England is like nah dis mine

It's not astringent to me, it's just so. Sharp. I don't know. It cuts through my soul. I have read that it's genetic before, I think it's island genes (Ireland/England/Scotland) but I can 'tolerate' it in very low amounts (free salsa at Mexican restaurants is about where it starts and ends).

Cilantro and cinnamon. They both make me want to punch myself so hard I go back in time and don't swim really hard that one night.

LOL

I used to use the apple cinnamon glade plugins to cover up doggie smells in the mud room. Unfortunately, I am being forced away from it because those islander genes run high in this family too.

I couldn't imagine french toast without cinnamon. Frightful.

Certainly sounds good. I found an old lady from Hungary selling them through the local church here. Amazing. I do want to mention "bacon" to her based on this though.

Nope. Just thought to myself, what imbecile would do something like that?

Sorry if your mom and dad were offended, mater, but that wasn't the greatest PR move on her part

While the value on those deals are fine, that’s a lot of assets that need new contracts.

We’d have to overpay all of them and more than likely all wouldn’t be worth what we’d have to pay, especially Domi.

Good point, needs to be taken into consideration. We either need to acquire young players that are controlled or players under contract. The idea of Tkachuk, as an example, scares me. All that would do is kick the can down the road a couple seasons and likely cost even more than overpaying Reinhart now would.

We could really turn things around quickly here if we get good returns, we could also usher in a darker future for the Sabres, even darker than the one they've cultivated today. GMKA best understand he was in the "hot seat" the moment he signed on. The fate of the franchise may rest on these moves.

You're right.

Pierogis aren't quesadillas, they're polish ravioli.

Sauerkraut is awful stuff, not meant for human consumption.

Also, pierogis shouldn't even be considered in the top5 of polish foods. Sernik takes up 1-4 and we need room for that sausage stew dish.

as a co-worker of mine once said when we were discussing them, "what's not to like?...it's got my favorite foods in there--pasta, mashed potatoes, cheese, butter, onions"
