Honestly i think that if he really is, and you still hVe to maie room, you trade someone like marner or even matthews to make it happen.

If itbstarts a trend of players taking less to stay with the leafs you do it.

All their guys were crashing and banging our D, why wouldn’t they...our D are pretty small. That could be a bigger problem then our soft forwards.

Well, you’re wrong. Matthews plays with some edge. Tavares will take a check,
Marner will throw 1 every 10 games and take the odd check...Nylander does neither for the most part. Hyman takes lots of checks but doesn’t dish many out with much force. 🤷🏻‍♂️

- Garnie

Hmm Nylander 4th amongst Leaf forwards in hits taken this year. Marner 9th even with all that ice time….

I wonder if anyone has noticed that 2 of the 4 teams left are from our normal division, and theyre both leading. If it ends up an atlantic fivision SCF, what does that say about the division?

shush, doesn't fit the narrative, plus he said thrown.
Like Marner has ever thrown a check in his life.

3 outta 6

Rielly plays about as small as Sandin.

Our D would look tough against most of our forwards

Especially against Ottawa in checking out the back of Sabourin's Jersey, that was very, very edgy.

Marner plays like he wants his paycheque so he can hit the casino. Can't expect him to risk his body...

Surprising, Marners just more nimble.

You take Weelander to start your team - I’ll take Mitch.

Very soft player. Always plays on the perimeter. Gotta make sure his face doesn’t get hurt, as he has a commercial shoot the next day.

But you need to bang their top forwards over a series in order to keep them honest. Hitting slows the other guys down. So, if your top players are getting banged every shift but you are not hitting their top guys it will begin to show as you go deeper into the playoffs.

Watch the Islanders/Tampa tonight. It is an absolute war on every shift.

We’d probably have to take Tyler Johnson too.

Nylander bestest contract/player ever for Kucherov.

Helps TB outta their salary jam and they get the bestest player/contract in the league.

Hedman needs hip surgery. He'll be on LTIR to start the season. Sergachev isn't going anywhere.
