Have I missed something? Have the details of the event at the apartment been published? I've only seen the part about pulling a Toobin in front of players. What "crime" was the team supposed to report?

This is all spot on. Every bit. The content of the letter of recommendation will say a lot.

Hope you're well.

- mohel

The TSN article referenced earlier speaks of a letter of REFERENCE not recommendation. As stated in earlier blogs, people have said that most HR departments for letters of reference state only that employee X was employed for a period of time and do not go into other details of X's employment.

Most people would lose a career for a move like that, but he is supported by the sleezeballs.

A move like what? You’re going to tell us you’ve never pulled your Toobin?

The subject is an employee of CNN. What's political about that unless you think CNN has some sort of political agenda

Oh I agree on that. Haven't watched cable news for many months.

Like Katie Couric once said, people don't watch those news programs for information, they watch for affirmation.

Young men, in a very competitive situation, at the complete mercy of the coaches and management of the “company” for not only their opportunity for success with the Blackhawks, but probably for their hockey careers in general.

Psychology consultant employed by the “company” tried (and apparently succeeded) in convincing them that the incident(s) were their fault.

“Company” refused (allegedly) to report it to the police. What would the young players think would happen to their careers if they went to the police?

I'm no lawyer and have no idea who's right or wrong from a legal standpoint. But the highlighted quote is why any kid wouldn't say anything to authorities. Google Graham James and Chico Adrahtas. Those monsters left a trail of victims who were afraid for their potential careers.

Its not ok for most people’s sensibilities but it’s not a crime.

Was he charged with anything? It was a dumb thing to do whether intentional or not but considering all that is happening in the world it’s hardly a big deal.

He committed indecent exposure. Just like if someone shoots and kills someone else, but is never charged, they still committed murder. God I think you are smarter than this. Or are you?

Then you agree - Aldrich allegedly committed a crime - and the Blackhawks should have reported it.

I said “alleged” - and, in fact, no one has denied that the incident happened.

He committed an indecent exposure, I agreed and I agree with you. But he wasn’t charged or convicted of anything as far as I know. And I thought you’d be smarter than equating indecent exposure to murder.
