If you're going to call someone out, you should have the fortitude to name them.

LOL. How do teams that don't play well enough in the regular season to make the playoffs do in the playoffs?
As far as individual playoff stats, a good number of playoff games happened when he was young and was not as developed offensively as he is now. He was primarily tasked with lower line checking duties against top players like Malkin. Not conducive to offensive production. The quality of the team you play for is also a factor. However if you want to criticize Couturier for his offensive production in the playoffs in recent seasons, I think that's fair.

On a final note, how does an opinion that hockey fans who like to attend regular season NHL games for enjoyment in life are fools flocking to the seats, reflect on the person giving that opinion?

1. I understand your issues with cognition and memory, but this is the 3rd time I am reminding you that fortitude does not mean balls, it means forbearance.

2. I am also sympathetic to your well documented problems with reading so I will be kind: please observe that this precise point is already addressed in the last 7 words of the middle paragraph of the post you responded to.

3. That is very simple. I am so surprised you ask such elementary questions and get yourself into such a forgetful, contradictory spectacle.

Answer is this: It makes one a devil in bed. You should try it sometimes.

OK Sheldon. You must be a joy at parties. If you ever got invited to one that is.

Again, you incorrectly and repeatedly try and correct people on the words they use when they post. This is just another in a long line of ad hominem attack.

Definition of fortitude
courage in pain or adversity

synonyms courage · bravery · strength of mind · strength of character · moral strength · toughness of spirit · firmness of purpose · strong-mindedness · resilience · backbone · spine · mettle · spirit · nerve · pluck · pluckiness · doughtiness · fearlessness · valor ·

As we can see here, if I inserted the synonyms spine or nerve, it would fit perfectly. My selection of the word fortitude is proper.

Just more ad hominem attacks. You cannot attack the content of my post, so you attempt to discredit the use of words or attack personally. It's a pattern.

No it wouldn't. There is no adversity present that would make my naming the poster who favored Couts over Point an act of fortitude, spine, nerve or anything similar.

You clearly meant balls god alone knows why, for really I was just being reticent, and now are resorting to the old adage:

"Claude Giroux flashes some leather" (Doc Emrick).

But my man, thank you for spelling ad hominem correctly and without hyphens on your 4th try. Baby steps.

Sure it does. A synonym for fortitude is nerve. If I had said if you're going to call someone out you should have the nerve to name them. That doesn't work? epic fail PT

You see, it's not hard to spell something correctly. Every device you post on has spell check. It's just that there is far more entertainment value in reading your response when someone misspells something or in your view uses the wrong verb. The bit just got old but it was good while it lasted.

You should look up what synonyms mean. They are words that are near in meaning. They are however not the exact equivalent. Nerve is certainly not the exact same as fortitude. (I am not even going to get into the fact again that even nerve is not the correct word for the context since that bit went over your head as usual).

For someone to display fortitude, they would have to overcome some form of adversity. It says so in the dictionary meaning you posted.

I would like to sincerely help you understand. So here is an example of correct usage in a spirit of helpfulness:

"Do you think MJL will ever develop the fortitude to overcome his limitations and actually read the arguments that are made rather than treat them as flies to be swatted? All he does is flail around like a drunkard in a dark room. It is comical, but also sad."

See, you are still laboring with the ad hominem thing. That is almost always a phrase, occurring within a sentence.

Iotw, never capitalize it, bro.
