he is a miss right now, most everyone else drafted high like him are making contributions to their team, not him. Reach and a miss - bradster
Nope, he's 21 years old.

if he gets traded somewhere he likes, and they offer him good money, he will sign - bradster
It has been publicly leaked that he will not sign with a team before free agency. It has been leaked that he wants to play for Colorado. This was most likely done by his agent.

This is another pattern of posting of yours. You repeatedly tell people they're using the wrong verbs or have spelled something incorrectly. Or you tell them what they really mean.
I like it with a hyphen.

Let me know when you figure out that in no way precludes me making a bet with someone else, and following up about it with that someone else today.
Actually, come to think of it, don't. - PT21

Well of course you can try but unless you're a contender and are willing to give up high value assets for one year of the player, why would you try and deal for him with that info being leaked?

I don't recall where I stated that you couldn't have or didn't make a bet with someone else. - MJL
Omg so laughable. You’re so full of poop you can’t even wipe yourself. You just said the bet was with tomahawk. I mean it’s really comical |

It's ad hominem, for crying out loud, not ad homin in.
And there are rules about hyphenation. Grammar is not a personal choice. It does not matter whether you like it or not. It's carpe diem, not carpe-diem for example. It is very rare for Latin phrases to be hyphenated.

Maybe but they would be taking a big risk. If you win the Cup, it would be worth it.

On a sports message board, you can post how you like. Spell how you like. I always approach it as do I know what the poster is talking about? Then it's all good. By the way, correcting a poster's grammar is against the code of conduct.

signing hayes was a risk at that price......thats hockey. Pens have been trading 1st round picks for years. They go for it. It may soon start catching up with them, but so far its worked out pretty good. Esp if your 1st round pick is a JOB, then what are you really losing lol

No, you maroon, they were able to draft those players because they had A GOOD SCOUTING DEPARTMENT!!! - KGBflyers10
Well.................................... not exactly true. They invested more time and resources into scouting deeper into Sweden and Russia out of necessity. They traded so many high picks and were usually so deep in the draft order that they had to find a competitive advantage somewhere.
They did hit a few homeruns, but they also missed on a lot of guys too. And as Bill said, after awhile, they lost that competitive advantage as other teams started reaching deeper into Europe, and the internet made it harder for guys to go unnoticed in obscure corners.
Turns out, they really kinda average in terms of talent evaluation. |

The team is already weak and had a sad collapse this past season. The chemistry on this team is poor and has been this way for many years. I still remember Voracek saying the FLyers were 'scared' after losing a 3-1 third period lead to Ottawa a few years back. This was during one of their many stretches of poor play. Inconsistent play has been a consistency for many of the last 9 years. A team that is suppose to have talent on paper, yet, continues to struggle to make the playoffs, and, when there, rarely advance beyond the 1st round. That is partly chemistry. Not just roster. Couturier is playing at a high level and the Flyers still struggle. Moving him gives the team a chance to address multiple areas while avoiding a possible long and major cap hit.
They did not win with a young, in his prime Couturier. Trading a player is a risk. So is signing a 30 year old to a longer and major cap hit.
Tampa Bay has a chance to win back to back Stanley Cups. Their oldest players:
4th liner Patrick Maroon 33.
Ryan McDonaugh 32. - Captain_Ahab
Moving Couturier is no guarantee of addressing anything. Couturier should be re-signed. There is no reason why he can't be a quality player well into his 30's. The Flyers have some good young pieces that have a chance to be really good players. Couturier can be a part of that moving forward. I disagree that Couturier should be traded. He is too hard to replace and brings too much to the team. You need some veterans on the team even while drafting and developing. Couturier is the kind of player you want to keep around in my view.

Lmao precisely. Tomahawk irreverent. Yes because you don’t understand what you write “I stated there was no bet” quote. I can’t make it any clearer. There was a gentleman bet between pt21 and I. Had nothing to do with tomahawks comments from today or any other day. You sir interjected wrongly as usually then continue to pass off as everyone knows you will. Your self imposed ban means nothing. You mean nothing. Your words mean nothing
Until you produce that pre draft dated link of nopa migraine issue. Which we know doesn’t exist but surely you still believe does even tho try as you might you can’t produce. |
