I sincerely think Anaheim is making a mistake if Zegras is included in that package. Eichel is great and all, but he doesn't fit where the ducks are in the rebuild.

Lol a duck fan doesn’t want to give up zegras or drysdale for Eichel! Well then enjoy the unknown and wasted Gibson years whine you can. Your team needs the top Centerman NOW not in a couple years. Your not finding a franchise center for pennies on the dollar. Being a Sabres fan, it’s gotta be Zegras and the #3 or move on. Don’t need drysdale when Power is there for you at 1.
Goalie idea is good except take out Bernier and put in Merzilinkis.
Risto to Carolina is good for Risto. He’s better than his underlying stats are due to the ineptness of the management of this team regarding the roster decisions! Too much pressure was out on him too early due to the lack of talent on the backend. As far as cost idk it’s tricky but 1 for 1 type trade similar contracts. Sabres will need forwards if they move Eichel and Reinhart so insert similar values Carolina forward here lol.
This off-season is make or break for the Sabres that’s for sure.

Drysdale and Power play opposite sides, so yes I would take Drysdale in a heartbeat. One of either Zegras or Drysdale would have to come back in a trade for Eichel. I would be surprised if Anaheim moves either one, so you move on to the next team. Atleast 1 blue chip prospect has to come back with a 1st rnd pick if not you don't trade him.

3rd overall is pretty valuable, including Drysdale or Zegras would be a bit much. Ducks have some other decent young players/prospects that would be good to include like Comtois or someone older like Rakell. In any case, I think the Sabres would be better off going for the high end of the #3 rather than a team that gives them a lower pick with another blue chip prospect. Having two picks in the top 3 would be huge for the franchise.

Giving up a high 1st and a blue chip prospect is not much for Eichel. Prospects are what they are Prospects. And if you don't want to include one of them, then your cleaning out your pool cause your giving up more.

I would think that #3 OA, and 3 young NHLers would suffice, like Jones, Steel and Fluery. Proven players that have not reached their ceiling yet.

Take 1 out and put Comtois in there and I would probably think about it

If ducks trade one of those high end prospects for Eichel. it won't be long before Eichel demands the other one be traded LOL
