The return for Jack is going to be young players, in the form of players highly likely 21 and under.

This team won't be good, but I contend they won't be Ralph-Bad. They want all of these kids to grow up together. You'll have a core of like 10 18-22 year olds. Few years, it could look great, if they draft a top end talent like Wright.

Granato will probably be named coach, but I'd be surprised that they wouldn't bother talking to Lambert first.

87 - I kinda like the idea of building around the defenseman. We already have a good foundation with dahlin and possibly power.

Probably let's you spend less on goaltending with a solid defense.

Probably keeps you high in the draft order to select some franchise type centers the next 2 years.
