Lunaion - this is an interesting post.

At this point : the Sabres have banished a good portion of their season ticket base.

I'm keeping my seats regardless of on ice success.
I think there's still a group of sth who need some hope.

They always pull something to sell seats of keep us interested:

Mceichel tank
Ted
Kane and ror
Naming eichel captain
New coach in phail lousley
New coach in Ralph

Pk88 would be Huge

I must say, you have some strong staying power to put up with the crap product they trot out year after year.
Good on you.

Isn’t the stadium built on an Indian Burial Ground?

So Boss what do you think of the Bill's possible plan of tearing down the Ralph and putting a new Stadium up in the same spot.
- Buff36

Actually I've been on vacation with my son. Really missed the social media posts.

Would they include a dual hockey,/ football stadium?

I still think downtown is going to happen. The longer they leave the key center in a dirty outdated state, the more likely they are to build a dual team stadium IMO

Hope it's a retractable roof πŸ™‚ regardless...

What are your thoughts 36?

I just really enjoy the games. I really love the Sabres, thick or thin, like most buzzers around here.

You're a former season ticket holder, there was a sense of pride right? Not so much now.πŸ™‚

I'm in the tonawanda/kenmore area. Takes 12-15 minutes to the arena. Wife likes going and I've painfully acquired good seats in reasonable priced areas.
Hate to lose seniority as well.

This will not be this way forever.

I would like a dual site downtown, but putting in the road infrastructure would be a huge uptacking. If the plan that has been talked about in Orchard Park is true it will be a Open Air Stadium with coverage over more seating, maybe a half dome, or something like the old Cowboys stadium just the opening bigger. I don't mind OP, a lot of ways to get in and out, plus we still own property over off Sheldon Rd so I don't have to pay for parking and can have a little pre tailgate with friends there before heading up, only like a 10 minute walk.

Think the Dildo being thrown on the Carpet did the exorcism of the Stadium.

Open air vs. Dome / or 1/2 covered.

The older I get, the less i enjoy the cold games.
Good timing for the discussion, the Bill's are relevant.

If we're good again, this will happen. The pegula's have $ and would make the stadium spectacular.

*and expensive

I have no dog in the fight. Both areas have +'s & -'s.
The tailgating tradition is a big part of the experience...would be harder to keep in downtown.
It would have been nice to have that investment in downtown and really leverage it for other development and uses ov the facility itself.

Would have been, but no way is Erie County gonna get involved in a possible 5 Billion dollar problem with possible infrastructure.
