Seth Jones is worth less than Reinhart because he had two bad seasons? But Jack Eichel just had a poop season and is overvalued by your whole fanbase isn't worth less because you say so? See how this works? Eichel isn't a top 5 center in the league based n his numbers. - GPHawksfan
Being the only elite player on the Sabres has not stopped Eichel’s production. The 2019-2020 season was his best offensive and defensive season at even strength in terms of EVO and EVD, and in terms of GAR, he finished top 15 among skaters. There seems to be an upward trend with Eichel, and we are confident he will rise in the next few years on our list, especially as we may get to see him perform in the postseason for the first time in his career.
6. Jack Eichel
Eichel is right up there with 25 points in 21 games and has done a great job of leading Buffalo off to a pretty good start this season relatively speaking, and has been generating tons of offense with 76 shots on net so far this season
Would this minimal, baloney, nonsense return be enough for Eichel? Columbus wouldn't trade their first round pick anyway.
Why even write the useless article?
Would the fifth overall pick, an additional first-round selection in the 20s plus an NHL goaltender, which Buffalo needs, be enough to acquire Eichel? - kingcong39
I had a smile on my face, some of the stuff I have posted today and the trade ideas are really out there. The only one close was the Florida idea.
Guess we can chalk up Jonathan Toews career to being a 25 goal, 60 point center because raw totals / number of seasons played is how you deduce what a player is. Man, I thought he was so much better than that.

Are their G's that strong though?
Their D wasn't horrible with Jones, Werenski and Savard, and had a coach who preaches commitment to defensive; yet, this seaso they had below average GA stats and G SV%. Last season was better, but 2 seasons ago Korpi poop the bed again.
I'm not sold as a main piece in the deal...more like a Cap dump to me.
I don't like a whole lot of what is left on that roster either...sure there are some decent pieces, but nothing I would be overly excited about.
5-OA is great.
24th and 31st?...Meh...even traded, it would get you 11th-ish
Back in those days it was easier just to go spend a Saturday at Great Games, remember every Saturday if you bought 5 dollars worth of game coins you got 5 dollars free.
There will always be a contigent of fans who are willing to watch losing hockey as long as they're seeing an honest effort and some passion.
Hell, I'm one of em. I can tolerate sucking as long as they're not boring and bad and soft. If we're going to suck, give me a Steve Ott and a John Scott not Linus Omark - Hank Balling
