Meh.
Congrats we beat the other team up while losing 8-2.

Don't get me wrong: I'd rather watch good hockey but it sure seems like the Sabres are going to suck next year. A bunch of pissed off goons would at least be a reason to tune in

Not for me.

Either want to see young talent or I’ll just root for the team Jack goes
To.

John Scott represents the second most pathetic team in franchise history. The Sabres were absolutely laughed at by the league when he played for us

Now they laugh at us because we can’t even get good when we try

Either one

We're good
Out of all players mentioned so far
He would be my choice

- Anderdog

Yeah he would be a nice fit, him and Cozens with that speed could be fun to watch. And put Quinn at RW could get very intriguing.

There will definitely be a lot of young talent. I wouldn't mind some angry honey badgers too though

That kind is gone anyway.

I want a couple tough guys though. Eichel never had anyone to watch his back after Kane left and it's ridiculous that tall Tage had to fight this year

You want to trade assets to rent Kadri for this season?

is going to be our captain when 9/23/55 are booted? Brian Gionta? Craig Rivet?

Guess I just don't see the point of a significant trade for someone you'd need to sell at the deadline. There's no real upside.

I was thinking the same. Depending on the market for Risto this summer (I have no idea what Risto is worth to other teams) perhaps a Risto/Kadri swap works if Colorado is sick of his poop and no one else wants Risto.

I'd make that trade but i wouldn't give up anything of real value for Kadri

John Scott started the downfall of this franchise IMo.

They were so tired of “being pushed around” that they abandoned everything to get tough guys.

To me it’s “my dad can beat up your dad”

Imo it started with Lucic on Miller.

Goose didn't do poop and the team crumbled. They swung the pendulum the opposite way to 1972 when they realized the core was too soft.

Scott/Kessel was funny as poop. I don't care what anyone says

Sam Reinhart is a 20 goal 50 point winger?
- GPHawksfan

This is always laughable when seen. Apart from the fact that he has assuredly proven he can play RW or Center with equal defensive consistency, over the last 4 years he’s been a 25 goal 60 point guy. People who call him a 20 goal 50 point winger clearly have an objective to low label him for a lower return. It’s honestly like calling Debrincat a 25 goal 50 point winger. It’s annoying and completely inaccurate for zero reason other than to be inaccurate

I guess they need him to hit the floor now. I just hope he doesn’t ruin his health any worse than he already has by playing when he shouldn’t.

Jack Eichel didn't exactly set the world on fire this season either and most of you want the moon for him. I guess that only goes one way
