I guess the refs decided to swallow their whistles last night...that Karlson hit on Edmunson was brutal...how was that not called? - Hockey Pucker
It's the playoffs. People need to stop with the reffing complaints, it does nothing but make you look whiny, even when the complaint is valid. It's not like the refs don't miss calls on the Habs too so it tends to even out over time anyway. Just my two cents |

Je sais pas, leur podcast est sur la coche en criss. Ils ont une couple d'analystes qui sont quand même pas pire. Fichaud, Andy, M-A Perreault est pas pire aussi. |

when a team gets zero penalties then the refereeing (or lack of) does tend to become more noticeable... but yeah I agree, there's no way to even bring it up without others not thinking you're biased lol |

Oui la poche bleue est sur la coche, mais ça a été créé avant l’embauche a tva j’espere juste qu’ils resteront aussi bon et ne deviendront pas des Bossy, Theo ou autre gorlot |

It's the opposite. I'm not going to cry to a ref to fight my battles. For my money the more they swallow the whistles the better. But win, lose or draw I can't abide by complaining about refs |

So, if we had to pick the Habs 5 best players so far this playoffs, who's making the list? |

Danault, Caufield and Edmundson should get some note too |

agreed for Danault and Edm....Caufield it's a bit early, great for his age but overall not as impactful except on the PP |

Agreed, you could sub him and Petry at any given time on this list and there would be no argument from me. Caufield is climbing that list as well. I wish Danault could put up just a few more points as then he'd probably get closer to the recognition he deserves as well. |

He's the most consistently dangerous forward not named Toffoli for my money and it isn't really close |

Difficult to argue against the top four. They all been elevating their game.
Edit: and of course Carey price, without his ordinary saves we would not be there. |

I'd love to see Anderson get going, but I'm just not sure him and Kotkaniemi are the best pairing. But there's no way I would split the rest of the lines up with the way there playing. To often Josh drives that lane to the net with the puck with no one else in position to take a pass or grab a rebound, then goes barreling into the boards or behind the net, and the play is over. Someone either needs to be down the opposite side at the same time, or he needs to pass the puck off then go to the net. He's become very predictable and its to bad because he could really move the lever in the Habs favor if he gets going. |
