Gotcha! Didn't realize he was just repeating that. I'm of the opinion that he is still on the roster when the season starts. I just feel like there's too much crap going on with him to provide us with the appropriate return right now. Just me, though!

Sean is trending down, the 28pt in 50g season here hurt a lot. The fact of the matter is that Samson has been the better player for a couple years now and is younger than SM. It's kind of a no brainer my dude.

Since CBJ might not want the "malcontent" Eichel, would Rhino make a lot more sense going that way? And the Sabers need a goalie, so....
Rhino for Elvis + Bolts 1st or the block buster:
Rhino + Risto + a2nd for Seth Jones + Korpi I don't see Seth giving assurances that he would re-sign though.......Unless yawl hire his favorite coach! Torts!!

Value wise in a vacuum, I would still place my bet on Reinhart. Sam is an unproven center, but absolutely the superior player. Centers are inherently more valuable, so it's not a bad question as to who holds more league wide value.

But I am sure as poop that Sam Reinhart, while on the ice, is a more valuable addition than Sean Monahan.

Monahan has value, no doubt. In terms of who should be valued higher, that is most certainly Samwise. Sucks to say too, he's going elsewhere real soon.

Have to imagine it drops. He plays with JG 5v5 and Lind/Tkachuk on the 1st PP unit. Unless he's placed alongside another elite winger and given the same amount of PP time (almost half his pts were on the PP last season), he's probably going to have a tough time.

You'd hope by acquiring a guy like him he can turn it around and you get an extra piece back that helps put you over the top. That being said, going from JG to Olofsson on his wing would be a big downgrade and something to likely slump him even further.

The team no longer wants to deal with Eichel's injury debate or him overall. He's gone and sooner rather than later.
