Partially. I think it has more to do with calling it a “fluke” or “lucky” that they’re in the ECF again makes someone come off like a moron. Nobody is saying they’re a dynasty that’s just someone throwing some hyperbole exaggeration up to cover the stupid, incorrect, point but you and I both know that. That’s his schtick. - Cptmjl

There literally is not enough room in Buffalo for 2 Jack's, after the Rasmi disaster Terry implemented the no 2 same first name players on the roster going forward, so Eichel has to go. So Adams gets an F for his first draft choice forcing the franchise player out.

Due to me having debates with both of you the last couple of years saying we were lucky to make it out of the first round, sweeping the pens, etc. That’s why the previous years keep getting bought up. Also, if a team makes the playoffs consistently and makes the ECF two consecutive times beating multiple good teams in the process over the last few years most sane people would probably drop the “lucky” label. That is it.

If you're trading Jack, why are you taking value from the trade by shedding Skinner? Keep him, maximize Jack's value. For Seattle, it's 2 and at least 2 'future consideration' trades that sends us vets from the expansion list. Not too thrilled with that one.
