Congrats to Oskar! Well deserved award.

BTW... watching VGK - MTL... can't help but think that it's a good thing the Flyers didn't select Cole Caufield in the draft. Who needs a young scrub that just puts up points in the playoffs in his first few NHL games? All he does is score goals and set up plays. Flyers don't need players like that. Nope. Not at all. /sarc

And he is too fast also, the other players wouldn't be able to keep up with him

The Sixers are paying 35 million a year to a guy who is 12-39 31% from the foul line? 🤡🤡

Simmons is the biggest joke in the NBA. Imagine having to take someone off the court at the end of the game that you are paying hundreds of millions of dollars to.

If I saw a 10 year old in a rec league shooting 31% from the foul line I’d jump off the roof.

When they get eliminated will Embiid cry again?

Every time I watch Cole Caufield play I throw up in my mouth. This kid looks as advertised, but apparently brilliant Chucky didn't think they needed a dynamic forward like that. Yes, this isn't hindsight cause I was screaming at the TV the night that they passed on him twice! York better be the second coming of Brian Leetch as advertised or Chucky is gonna have some splainin to do.

Evander Kane is what this team needs. Is there a deal to be made? Then sign Tony D when he is bought out. There are some murmurs around the local rinks there interest on both sides.

First of all, they didn't pass on him twice. The Flyers selected York with the 14th pick. Caufield was selected 15th. So if York turns out to be a quality two way NHL defensemen, are you then going to revise this and state that Chucky is brilliant for his selection?

They actually DID pass on him twice! They traded down from the 12th pick and then took York with the 14th pick, so technically they passed on him twice. And I already stated that if he(York) isn't the next Brian Leetch this will be a failed ploy by Chucky. This team is full of dullard forwards that don't hit, skate fast or shoot. This guy is exactly what this forward group needs and I'm sticking to that until proven otherwise. Thanks!

guy gets banned for a racist remark toward a black poster, then is advocating the flyers go after a black player.

you can't make it up.

Technically you can say they did. They had their pick at 11, and traded down to 14. SO yes they could have picked him at 11. Then again could have picked him at 14.

That being said, I'll wait to see how York turns out before anointing Cole Caulfield and his 1 goal and 5 assists - 1 in 11 playoff games the next Theo Fluery.

No that is not passing on him twice. LOL. They made one pick in the first round before Caufield was picked. The Flyers need a quality two way defenseman far more than they need a forward like Caufield and it's not even close. Flyers draft BPA so we'll see if they wind up correct or not.

They made one pick in the first round. I don't see that as being accurate. The Flyers never made any selection at 11.

So you suggest Evander Kane....go watch the video on YouTube of him explaining his side of the story from a suspension by the team, this guy is the worst. One of the biggest pieces of trash in the league

It would take Lillard demanding a trade plus a whole lot more for Portland to make that trade.

I don't watch many Sixers games but it seems to me like Simmons can be really good in some games, pushing the ball, driving the lane. Posting up down low, defending any player on the court. Then other games he can be a complete non factor. He's an NBA player that literally cannot shoot. When he is away from the basket, they literally don't have to guard him. You can't have him be the passer into Embiid at the post because they can double without any threat of Simmons hitting an open shot. You want him on the court to defend late but he can't hit a foul shot. It's a real problem. One of the worst losses in sports I've ever seen. I think they're going to lose this series. Hope I'm wrong.

The Ben Simmons triple-double

10 rebounds
11 assists
10 missed foul shots

this.

i also still want them to address the defense before they make other moves that could hurt the team cap wise.

How long ago was that suspension? He can play. Don't need a team of Saints.
