Hey you never know, with the weird year hockey had all over the world, the upcoming draft is going to be even more of a crapshoot, maybe the Habs will be lucky and pick up a gem at 28th...

past the top 5 I think it's pretty open, every team will have different list. Hopefully it pays off having a large scouting team this year. Not the greatest draft but it could benefit teams with strong scouting teams.

they've done better the past few years, it will take a few years to see if they did well or not.

Had the misfortune of drinking Henry of Pelham's Baco Noir. Turned my tongue blue after one sip. Avoid it at all costs ($13.95 apparently).

really? nice!

it's a great ride but how do they take a step further next season and not one step back?

it's hard to go this far

id like to see them make a series out of this. this is not a team opening a window where they're gonna make regular final 4 appearances. i don't know how many more runs like this Carey Price has in him.

Yeah...that's what is most painful about it. Last time was in 2014. This year may be the last chance for Price and Weber...

I would tend to agree, but his record has been poor overall. A few good picks here and there.

And he's been here for years, no? At some point a change would have been welcome.

I think it is, going back to our normal conference setting, Habs might not even make the playoffs next year

With a friendlier cap hit, I think this would be the summer Price gets traded...

This is not hate on Price, but Habs are at crossroads here, where the gap between the present core and the future core is getting pretty wide.

I think Price sill has a few years in him. Allen was a great move by Bergevin. Even if I wanted Primeau to make the jump at the time.

They can play Petry even more next season, but somebody will have to step in pretty soon and replace Weber.

i know he scored some big goals earlier in the playoffs but KK has again gone ineffective. i just imagine this team right now with Sergachev and Tkachuk in, KK out.

i think with Weber he can still be effective in a lesser regular season role. second pairing, 18-minutes. problem is that they really, really, really need another mobile defenceman to add to this group, especially for the regular season.

I don't think Primeau is ready but it depends if you want another reaset.

And his cap hit is what it is.

I also think Weber will hang it up soon unless they can find a way for him to go to a contender, but how could that work?

I know Quebec has higher prices, but bixll sent me a list of 20 wines under 20 that are basically on the level of 50 dollar wines.

We have mobile defensemen on the way.

Harris and Norlinder.
