- Montreal, would never, ever light up anything blue and white to show support for the Leafs; and

- if they did (or any other Canadian city with an NHL team), the howls of protest would be deafening.

It's the funny thing about being a Leafs fan - we are constantly being attacked for hating other teams (and cities), when the hate coming our way is always 100X worse.

Ask a Torontonian what they think about Vancouver.

And don't get me started on Alberta.

Or the Maritimes.

Its true, Montreal would never do that. That's what makes us better.

Although I dont recall the falls or tower doing this for the flames, oilers or sens when they went on their runs.

They want this to be a Raptors or Jays type thing...it’s not at all but it’s what they are trying to do.

Let’s be real, when the Leafs are out 90% of their fans could give two poops about what’s going on in the playoffs. They will check the scores but won’t watch games. That’s a massive portion of playoff viewers that simply stop caring.

I would actively cheer against Winnipeg. I would kind of hope for Vancouver to lose but not enough to really care. I’m a big Price fan so I have no problem seeing the Habs do well. I won’t go out of my way to watch a game, though.

I did see chunks of last nights game, enough to make think that Montreal played pretty well but would have lost by a lot without Price and that there’s a huge gap between your goalie and ours.
