Has anyone ever seen Mitch Marner and Garnie in the same room?
- senstroll

Hey now… I like Garnie.

The Gull keeps driving Mitch to the airport but Garnie keeps driving him back to Toronto. Wait. The airport is in Toronto. Never mind.

Maybe Keefe had a brain cramp and instead of loading up a line of players that were effective say Nylander/Kerfoot/Matthews, he saddles Matthews with Marner and Thornton and like a stubborn brick-head wouldn't change it.
- winsix

I agree, they should have maybe moved Hyman off the top line and tried someone else, maybe Galchenyuk there? Maybe he didn't do that because the Galchy-Kerfoot-Nylander line was effective.

The PP, yes, he should have loaded up on PP1

Weber no longer scores on his shots from the point. He still takes just as many.

Still good for a good 15 goals a year.

If he was a Leaf, no doubt it would be a bad 15 goals a year.

The goals are a bonus. He gets paid to cross-check top opposing forwards. League has agreed not to penalize him during the game. Habs also agree to pay all the $5000 fines accumulated.

I bet those $5000 fines really hurt Weber's pocketbook.

And that folks is a perfect example of selective justification by Roger Ramjet. Isles didn't win the Cup so they suck. I must've lost track. Did the Isles get eliminated last night? Rog?

New NHL playoff standards:

Kadri - a garlic breath that causes an opponent to faint - 5 minute major and game misconduct plus 8 playoff game suspension

Weber - cross-check that fractures 8 vertebrae in an opponent
No penalty and a $5000 fine

Pitchers aren't allowed to throw more than 90 pitches a game anymore for some reason.

Well, one is a "hockey play" and vertebrae grow back, right?

The other could lead to a head injury and it's Kadri's fault for not using Listerine before a game, he should know better...

Arms blow up. I watched a documentary on MLB pitchers years ago, and what they do is nothing close to natural. The warmup/ stretching sequences working with a trainer before a game for some of them was cringeworthy. People shouldn’t bend their arms that way. No wonder the frankers have so many issues.
