I don’t get it. - Garnie
When they preach their opinion as if it is fact and everyone else is too stupid to understand that it is fact is where it gets to be too much.
Like pages and pages of saying the islanders are garbage and lucky for example, how exactly does one just preach that as if it's the stone cold truth... 🤷🏻♂️ |

In Roger's defence, I've said it about the Bruins for years now. - Atomic Wedgie
I've said "this is the year they take a step forward and make the playoffs!" about the Panthers for about 4 straight years.
I decided to stop the nonsense this season.

In 7 years, if/when the Islanders fail to make the playoffs, Roger can pull up these posts to show that he was right all along. |

do you mean like the time Kadri was suspended and Babcock foolishly put Nylander at C on a line with Connor Brown and Patrick Marleau? |

Yet, do we hear that argument for other high paid players that play against top pairing guys?
Does McDavid, Kucherov, Stamkos, OV, Crosby get a pass because they have to play against other teams best players?
Or is that argument just for Marner? |

That really puts some things in perspective. Fu3k. He's as bad as I thought with the eye test.
You know, it's okay if he goes somewhere else and does really well. He just doesn't do well here. Move him out and balance the team.
And for clarity, I'm talking about Marner. You guys saying to move Willy after watching this playoff round are nuts. He's the best producer so far and has the most reasonable cap hit of all of them.
I'd move on from 3 out these 4 players: JT, Marner, Rielly, Andersen.
Yes, JT. Reasons. |

Top players face top competition, that's how it should be... Marner doesn't get a free pass..

If we’re going to compare them to other guys on their team and call them busts then yes you should look at who’ve they’ve faced.
Who’s gonna put up better #’s the guy playing against Bergerons line and Chara or the guy playing against Krejci and Grzeclyk.
I’ve got no skin in this, just my opinion that Marner is the better player and the stats would be different if he played on the 2/3rd line and not against the other teams best, that’s what my common sense meter says, I could be wrong.
Maybe Nylander rips apart the Bergeron line. 🤷🏻♂️ |

It just seems like you're making excuses for Marner.
Why wouldn't the guy making $10.9M per season face tougher competition?
Also, he should be able to produce against any line, not get scared of his own shadow..

I was hoping to see another Leaf Stanley Cup in my lifetime. Leafs have been damn good at reducing my hopes to simply see them winning a single round in the playoffs, and I have doubt that will even happen. I believe they call this Aethapy.

Let Hyman go and trade for Travis Kopechny. He's available. 5.5 per and only 24. Signed long-term. He's LW. |

Then maybe he shouldn't take first line money and screw up the team's Cap and ability to fill the roster out for success?
That Brayden Point tweet posted earlier is pretty fu3ked up. Now this tweet about Marner v Nylander....fu3k. |
