Is there a problem with tax returns being leaked? - paulr
No, not at all, The IRS is doing a fine job at that. |

Here is simple question for the panel and Theo: what free agents and trade targets should the blackhawks pursue this upcoming off-season? - Scott1977
I’ll have an elaborative blog or two about this later this month or early July.
In general, pursue free agents on one year deals who can be flipped at the TDL like Soderberg, Janmark, and Wallmark.
Any trades would be to ship out personnel like Strome, de Haan, Zadorov, Delia, etc.
One of them may get taken by the Kraken which would help. |

Hello, Theo. Thanks for all the output, it is much appreciated.
I'd add one more transaction to look for this summer; eating a bad contract. Kind of the reverse of the Bickell/TT deal. I think the Seabs/Shaw/Toews(?) space is a huge asset, and I hope Stan is able to leverage it.

They would be totally missing out on an opportunity if they don't. The only possible way I could see that happening is if Rocky says no due to all the cash going to LTIR guys and I believe that gets spread out? |

Mike Hoffman 1 yr at 5M. Play him on PP1 which is his specialty. Have him pot 25 goals by the TDL. Retain half his salary and flip him to a contender at the TDL.

And the LTIR money may be at least partially shared. |

Those on LTIR probably have their contracts insured.

Well if you believe in the rule of law it is because it is illegal to leak tax returns of private citizens. - LAHawk
Is this happening and I’m being serious. I haven’t heard or read that this is a problem. And if it’s happening it is a problem. |

ProPublica received leaked information from IRS files - they recently published some of that information, specifically concerning tax information showing that "billionaires" such as Bezos, Icahn, Soros, Musk, Bloomberg paid no federal income taxes for several years.
Attorney General Garland said that Justice would investigate the leak(s). |

poop! That’s a problem. Billionaires not paying taxes is also a problem. Now what is the bigger problem? Glad I flip burgers for a living. 🥴 |

You bet, mo.
Yes, the topic of eating bad contracts in exchange for futures and/or other favorable assets will be a part of those blogs.
It feels weird that the entry draft and free agency period are a month later so there's still lots of the time for rumors and proposals to circulate. |

Seems like these 3rd and 4th line vets understand that they will not get a multi year contract in this flat cap NHL, and they are going back to Europe to play. This scenario will keep forcing teams to bring up young players, some who will not be ready for the NHL grind. |

Really no surprise. Isn't the theory keep the jobs in the country so all employees have to pay taxes?
The leaks, who cares. |

Boy when the Bolts play team defense they are so good also clogging up the neutral zone and taking away outlet passes. |

The Hawks will sign Hinostroza. Maybe someone would want Carpenter?
Boston is going to pull a variation of Tampa next year. Since Rask is out for months, and he only wants to play for the Bruins. They won't sign him until he is ready to play, saving all that cap space. |
