Montreal finally exposed on Monday night for what they really are, A pedestrian team undeserving of any postseason play.

Last night, Habs worst D was Kulak. Not a fan of Gustafsson but Kulak played himself out of the lineup last night.

That being said, it's only one game, people need to calm the (frank) down (i.e: Mashadar and Habsolute tapette 009).

Kulak was in the wrong chair, he's not a top 4 d

I like Anderson's game, but you have to up points on the board eventually. Doesn't seem to be the same player since that DeMelo slewfoot a few weeks ago.

He hasn't been good since game 1 against the Leafs.

i believe that's incorrect. the players are not being forced to take the vaccine. and even the NHL deems a team "fully vaccinated" when only 85% of the players/coaches/trainers are jabbed. i think St. Louis had like 7-8 players opt out of the vaccine. there are definitely going to be people in their travelling party not vaccinated.

Yeah, I forgot some hockey players are dumb (frank)s.

Anyway, they are still tested daily and somewhat in a bubble.

can't be much worst than a 4-1 lost.

Danault and Gallagher stats are below average.

Tatar hasn't played in a while and that could be a problem.

But Lehkonen or Evans are not first liners.

- deadpoulet

i'm not in for Tatar. if Montreal is constantly in a position this series where they're looking to score goals rather than prevent them (i.e. constantly chasing the game), they're gonna make a quick exit. they need to make these games as low-event as possible.

and speaking of low-event, something has to be done with that KK line. Josh Anderson was created in a lab with this type of hockey in mind. he's absolutely languishing with those 2. i'd love for Jake Evans to be able to play and have him center JA.

Considering Gustafsson input on the PP and Romanov physical game, what will keep Kulak in the lineup when Petry gets back? I am not too sure...

my question is more about next season. we're less than 4 months away. there is zero chance the Canadian gov is going to allow unvaccinated non-citizens/residents into the country without quarantining by that time. so will the NHL teams get an exemption from that? because if not... we're going to have to do this stupid Canadian alignment again.

Yeah, I don't see them scoring 5 goals. They are a lot like the Islanders, with no Barzal. I just don't think that Tatar would hurt the team. Yeah, they will win games 2-1. But you need that guy to score that 2nd goal.

They need Petry to come back asap. That would help, like a lot. If he's healthy that is.

What would be your line up with Evans in? Who would play with KK?

how many more years of your life are you willing to lose over this? Be honest.

If you are sick, stay home. I agree.

Otherwise enjoy life. It's short. We are wasting it as we speak.

And I'm the crazy one cause I believe in freedom, human rights and dear god, life itself.

Lock me up!!!!

i agree there. if he's not back and at least 75% effective i think Montreal is cooked. outside of Price i think probably the guy they could least afford to lose.

oh i think KK is headed back to the press box if Evans is healthy. at least for game 2.

Habs came out and were clearly the better team for most of the first period.

Then they did stupid things, let the Knights back in the game with their mistakes and penalties, and playing catch-up hockey was not going to happen last night.

They need to come out in game 2 like they did in game 1, and stop with those (frank)ing lazy penalties and lazy plays... the Knights are too good a team to have brain cramps over and over.

Game 1, first bad game in a while, so lets see what game 2 brings before judging.

Yeah, I think I saw enough of the "north" division to be honest.

I think that with most of the population having two doses, it will matter less.

I do have concerns over variants making their way here though.

could they play him on the wing instead?

either way, that could be screwing up with another top prospect. But they need to win games here

KK needs to be better than he was yesterday, I don't see any chemistry between him and Anderson though.

Our team only works if all 4 lines are contributing.
