Ya for sure - the Cap relief would be a huge win for them.
While I like Marner (just not at all worth the cash) I just think that what Konecny and Sanheim would bring are more beneficial for the Leafs than what Marner/Nylander (one of) would bring. I love the speed and skill but the leafs will still have it if one of them were traded, you know. That Skill/Grit and defensive depth is more valuable in my opinion (to the Leafs right now) than one of those guys…again, I like parts of both Marner/Willy games for sure. - Big23Questions
I do like Konecny enough but wasn't he scratched a few games last year per lack of effort (or some such?). Also, has he played any significant time on LW? |

He was scratched for sure vs Islanders one game. It was during Gluers ‘slide’ when they went into pooper. He had a bad game the game prior (giveaways cost a couple goals) and looked frustrated. So AV made a bit of an example of him in attempt to wake the group up I think. A lot of frustrated players on Flyers last year for sure though.
Not sure about the LW thing. |

Montreal better hope another top line centre gets knocked out of the series in game 1 to have any chance or their Cinderella run ends

Oh, ho, ho, ho, that is funny.
Pajama Boy took himself out of the Series by being careless.
Scheifele took himself out of the Series by being stupid. |

To be fair Tavares was stupid for being on the ice the same time as Perry. |

I like Nylander. But would prefer a Marner. After his bonuses are paid of course. Let the rich leaf market pay that. I also think Marner is the one the Leafs should trade if they visit that avenue at all with either player. It opens more cap space which goes along way. Esp in the flat cap era we are in. And boy. I hate thinking about what that package could be. I could only hope its mostly draft picks.
Also. LA isnt in on Hamilton. Jones makes more sense. If a new contract is worked out of course. LA would prefer to find a 25 year old LH dman who can score. |

I gotta say Garnie.
It's only one game, but Vegas is without a doubt the best team we've faced so far.
Really impressive stuff. |

I thought they’ve always been good.
Not easy to push around either.

Vegas is the only team with heart and balls bigger than your team's dirty-ness.
Just cuz the Leafs are pu$$ies and the Jets suck, doesn't mean the Habs are a good team, just sayin'.....(and I'm a fu3king, crying, miserable Leafs fan). |

Watch Vegas play, and tell me if Nylander would fit on that team.
7mil for a classic stereotypical Swede.
He’s great on Chel tho. |
