Love how everyone wants to trade the 2 players that were playing to their contract..Kerfoot has done everything the Leafs have asked of him and can play up and down the lineup...I have never been on team Nylander but he has a decent contract so let's trade him and sign more people to contracts they don't deserve.

But willie has the cheaper contract. Moving Marner clears up more space.
But agreed, neither will happen.

From a kings fans perspective,nylander is not a good fit for the kings.imo he doesnt play a 2 way game that would make him fit into our system.to me it doesnt make sense to trade away prospects that we have used high draft picks to get and developed that could become just as good as nylander.

I think Dubas adds someone significant without trading either.

Also think Dubas and Shanny really believe in Matthews and Marner. We are living or dying with those two.

Kerfoot did great in the playoffs, but sucked in the reg for his price. Unless he can be a consistent top-6 guy at that price, he's an easy out.

At least, for 21/22, it would seem.

If the Leafs don't make it out of the 1st round this coming year Dubas is done and the Core 4 will almost certainly be re-assessed.

And by "re-assessed" I mean some of them being jettisoned into the sun.

That and they have go get rid of the damn drop pass. Everyone knows it’s coming and just wastes 10-15 seconds on the powerplay every time.

Sorry,I still wouldnt do a deal for nylander.I would still take the chance with a younger player over a player that plays one end of the ice and doesnt hit.

The Sabbath paranoid album was a classic. If I’m in the car and they play anything from it I still crank it up to full volume. Unfortunately I tend to stomp on the gas too.
