Funny how you say MTL overpays their players when the Leafs have 3 guys making 10+mil and can’t even sniff the second round. The truth is Dubas royally (frank)ed up when he caved to Nylander demands and it set a bad precedent for the rest of the team. Leafs had a great opportunity to have some success with 16&34, but like they always do they went ahead and shot themselves in the foot. They never learn.
