Pronman doesn't always hit. But things I hate to see on scouting reports is concerns with skating and being able to muscle through top competition (post development) and since some of the top guys have those question marks, it's what separates them from guys like Guenther, Power, Beniers and Eklund.

you have cozens, rossi and casey for your 3 centers if jack is gone

you probably have a more skilled winger in rossi then quinn, if jack stays


they clearly reached for quinn last year, and my guess is they will reach for a center with 1 overall instead of picking the best player which is power

I think powers is the best player

so I would pick him and try to get a center via trades

Hajt was one of the best defensive defensemen in the game. Didn't have to nail guys or go running around. Was always in the correct position.

This may be true.
It may also be true that these guys have all been impacted by one of the most unusual years in their draft year, with all muted live viewings and interviews.

Also, Average is defined as NHL caliber. So, Powers Average skating evaluation is NHL ready. Further, His straight line speed is what knocks him down..which is the least important skating attribute...his edges are highly rated, which is more crtical.

Lastly, Corey states Power would be fighting for #2 or 3 ranking in last years class...NOT BAD at all.
