See this is the problem with the internet, nobody ever pays attention to the details. You all just run your mouth and rip Ek without ever looking at the details. Near the end of the 04-05 lockout, Brian Burke was announced as the new GM of the Ducks. He worked there until 2008 when he then joined the Leafs. He was fired from the Leafs in January of 2013.
Freddy Anderson was drafted by Carolin in 2010 but never signed with them. He was then redrafted by Anaheim in 2013... ANAHEIM PEOPLE!!!! In 2016, Anderson was then traded to the Leafs... THE LEAFS!!!! The timeline doesn’t matter, they both were part of the Ducks and then both were part of the Leafs organizations. It doesn’t matter that they have never been apart of the same organization at the same time, they both worked for the Leafs and the Ducks. In all likelyhood they have never met nor spoke to each other, but that’s just semantics. Eklund gets it.
