It's Chicano Batman, which means Mexican Batman, which is hilarious. They were substitute teachers in SoCal and had a garage band, got some exposure (it's LA) and got signed to a small label that was actually founded by Dave Matthews.

Why is there fear of losing Borgen when you can protect Dahlin, Jokiharju and Borgen and expose Ristolainen?

What other moves are you looking to make with the $15M in cap savings?

Are you trying to ice a team that can compete for the playoffs next season? If so, is that really a good idea?

I have a feeling that LA would want to offload at least some cap in the form of Maata, Quick, etc. even if only trading for Reinhart, but especially if you add from there in the form of Olofsson and Ristolainen, although they could retain 50% on Ristolainen to help amplify the return.

idk...but frazier worked his way up the ranks had a less-than-stellar head coaching record and reverted back to being an assistant/coordinator

daboll had a long career as an position coach/assistant and has five superbowl rings in those roles...

both have been very successful in their positions as assistant coaches/position coaches/coordinators...not sure what the point is

Point being, like ion said, if the org (Kim, Adams, new hc) believes Gronbeard is the best assistant for the team, a past working relationship shouldn’t matter, a coaches career aspirations shouldn’t matter. Put the best people in place to do the job!

I would certainly hope if Donny G gets the nod, the team adds at least SOME solid experience on the staff.

We’ve already seen what happens when you tap a high school coach to coach in the nhl.

While I like the work Ellis and the other guy did, they were also first time behind the bench coaches.

Would the organization be stronger with Ellis resuming his development responsibilities and bringing in more experience behind the bench?

The point, I believe he us making, is both of those Coordinators have been interviewed for HC positions.
