He’s staying in Denver. After the expansion draft he will re-sign. Why in hell would you think he would leave a legit contender that he is captain of to go to the poop show in Buffalo?? Talk about delusional. - TurdFergeson

Not a Wild fan, just a psycho that pays a lot of attention to the league. Don’t need You Tube to look him up. Tage thompson fought one of the toughest guys in the league, and I believe our Sabres young prospect (Cozens) led the team in fights this year. That those two had to answer the bell this year is a disgrace, and tells you all you need to know about that locker room.
Good for Greenway for answering the bell once a year or so, but that is not what he would bring to the team. Noone in the league is afraid of Jordan Greenway. Sounds like I’m dissing him, but am not. Loved his potential all the way back to his time at World Junior tournament a few years back.
Just understand what you are getting. Not a mean guy that is going to intimidate anyone, nut a good player with great size and good skill. If he can consistently play the right way, night in and night out, will take him on my team everyday. Not everybody has to be a killer, and can’t be. But everyone has to be all in when the chips are down. If he is, all is good and you have an effective player.
We are quibbling over nuance. Both like the player. His name has been thrown around in trade the last couple of years. There is a reason for that. Guerin lit the fire under his ass to get him to play the right way and utilize the assets God gave him. They will nit move him if they feel he has turned the corner in that regard. 6’”5 guys with that skill set are not easy to find, and usually take a while to find their footing, so get a little more time and patience to develop.
Buffalo needs guys like that. Can be well worth the wait. - 33eagle
Ok can agree with that
Would of lead team in pm
2nd in points
I agree then probably won't move him

Started watching Euro soccer on espn, dude took heavy slam, one glimpse of his face when they rolled him over and he looked beyond totally knocked out. players huddled around to shield view, it looked like they might have been doing cpr before camera panned back and far away, they would show no more closer looks.
Beyond the first trainer sprinting across the field, the Medical staff kinda take their sweet time realizing something serious was happening, too.
Been working on him on the field for several minutes now.
Edit; I missed when he went down, I thought announcer said “took hard fall”, but I think he may have just collapsed. Game has been suspended/postponed. - Ratsreign
Christian Eriksen. CPR was performed. A Reuters cameraman got a shot of him conscious before leaving the field. |

A legit contender that's basically Toronto West with how every year they take an early exit, stage left in the playoffs.
If a decent roster player each comes back in an Eichel, Reinhart, Ristolainen or other major trade, and a decent goaltender is acquired then the prospect of playing with someone like Dahlin alone is all the more appealing.
The Sabres can make enough moves this off-season to be a much improved team next year, the problem is will they?
But it's a pipe-dream anyway.
however, this whole "not signing until after the expansion draft" sounds like circumvention and they should make a rule that an UFA can't sign with the same team after an expansion draft, should there be one. |

Lol. They are far better than the leafs. And why would playing with Dahlin be more of an incentive than playing with Makar? As you say…it’s just your pipe dream. Sorry to give a dose of reality.

Looking forward to hearing good ideas from you. Hell, any ideas really. - kingcong39
I’ve posted plenty
Eichel to LA for:
-Byfield, 2021 1st, 2022 1st, another young player/prospect, Quick &/or Maata for Cap purposes
Reinhart to CGY for Tkachuk
Olofsson + Quinn to OTT for Brady Tkachuk +
*i haven’t come up with a Risto trade i love yet
*use our Cap space to acquire additional 1sts in 2022 & 2023 drafts
Build around the Tkachuk bros. & all the young talent we already have
Plus all the young talent we’ll be acquiring over the next couple seasons

I agree, I think he would fit very nicely here. Think he had like 35pts last year, like to see him put a few more in the net, but he had like 29 assists. |

These trades are truly laughable. Some of the dumbest proposals I’ve ever seen. Good work.

Nice, maybe a bidding war for Rhino - Buff36
Is it fair to say
If he has similar year as Last season
Trade deadline his return would be
Late 1st
Prospect
So if he's traded now it be better return |

I mean I would hope Adams makes a call to Minnesota, Tampa and a few other teams, they are gonna have problems protecting some of there players. Will affect are list, but Adams will just have to pull something out with his friend Ron in Seattle. |

I would think, especially if Friedman is right and there's a lot of teams with interest. |

Byfield needs to be on the table if the Sabres are taking a contract as bad as Quick's
That's Berglund and Sobotka without getting Thomas all over again - Hank Balling

Plus Reinhart just had a better season than Tkachuk
AND
Now that Sam has proved he can play Center,
bringing him in let’s them move on from Monahan like they’ve reportedly been trying to do for a few years now |

Not really the point he was trying to make though
(I think)
Seemed like he was basically just saying we shouldn’t accept “secondary” pieces for Jack….
like when we got Tage instead of Thomas
At the time,
Thomas was seen as a much better prospect |

That's way I don't understand with this team
Other than last year they shouldn't be any we're near cieling. Save that money teams are always looking to unload |

I'd tee up Dahlin with a one-year, $5.75M deal and at the end of next season plan on an 8yr deal to take him to 30 yrs. old with the total value dependent upon his 2021-22 season |
